Anyway. I haven't bought from BP in more than 12 years - for personal reasons. This isn't as big as the mess closer to Mexico in the 70s? - but it isn't good....has anyone looked up any long term effects from that one? |

Oh my fucking god. This is such a ridiculous atrocity. I'm serious. Somebody needs to make BP pay the fucking world back for its fuckup. Right before they go out of business, they spend their $300billion, or whatever their worth is now, fixing this problem. They need to throw all their money at shutting off the flow thru the pipe (which, really, how is it hard to have valves at every few miles, and just close it off up-stream? Did they not think of that?), and cleaning up the planet. The damage to the environment is going to prove so fucking horrendous because of this. BP should not survive the backlash. |
