Snipers have ruined several maps that just turn into a sniper fest while everyone else takes a nap in the back.
Wow you need help with the game if snipers are that much of a problem. I'm sorry, I know the whole "youre just bad" thing is cliched as hell but in this case it really fits.
1) Snipers do not get "perfect aim" with all rifles, sniping from anything above medium distance will incur bullet drop which needs to be adjusted for. This gets quite drastic at ~300.
2) Snipers only get one shot kills for headshots and thats working as intended. If you got hit by a sniper in the body and died, you were already injured.
3) It's not hard to figure out where a sniper is shooting from and decent snipers move every few shots anyways. Play on non-realism with kill-cam if you really care about it that much.
4) Mortars have a long cooldown and reduced damage against vehicles now. This isn't even a valid complaint in the first place.
5) C4 means the sniper has no mortars. C4 requires up close and personal work which is at odds with your other complaints.
6) Playing another class wouldn't magically cure that, those people will still be douchebags. First off there is no "Sniper" class in this game, its Recon and Recon can be played many different ways. I dont like people who play Medic and just rambo it up while never rezzing or dropping kits. I dont like assault who only drop ammo boxes on themselves to spam tubes or nades.
The AN-94 was only "buffed" at range, it's always been this good at medium range but no one was using it because they were too busy tubing and that includes most of you complaining. The Gustav is fine as is, if anything needs a nerf its the splash damage on the explosive perk. |
