Icarus Studios Restructures

The Fallen Earth Website announces a restructuring at Icarus Studios, co-developer of the post-apocalyptic MMORPG Fallen Earth. The announcement is sort of vague, implying that jobs have been lost without quite coming out and saying so. Word is:

As a result of today's reorganization and in an effort to maintain development, the combined companies will support core members of staff for ongoing customer service and continued development of Fallen Earth and company projects.

Team leads are continuing production and development on Fallen Earth Blood Sports Patch 1.4, scheduled for release on May 7. Community support and scheduled events, such as Slots Night (scheduled for tonight, April 30), will continue as announced.

Much like Eve, Fallen Earth will thrive on a niche market of gamers. I quite enjoyed it unlike most MMOs these days.

LOL! Those idiots should have just gone F2P from the get go. Thinking they could charge a premium for the client and premium monthly fee for an amatuer game? LOL again! Saw this coming from beta, same with most of the new MOGs on the horizon.

The game didn't look very user friendly, nor did it seem to get good reviews from players.
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
