Ahh, good old subway.
"portal to OHN!"
I miss AC days. I would have killed for my G15 back in those days. The other macro programs were never quite as good. Apart from the mapper which was excellent. |

Three-eyed Monouga? I thought they had one eye. Anyhow, really?! I remember hearing about that from friends who where in that area. I just remember having a blast getting owned by high-leveled Flame elementals around Tou Tou's lighthouse. The burning corpses everywhere!
I don't understand why Turbine doesn't revive Asheron's Call? If the graphics where upgraded, the XP system toned down (6M to go from 61 to 62? really?), and the ability to change talents I would SO play again! Also I hate to say this but I like WOW's quest-for-XP system. Do that Turbine and you have a guaranteed winner on your hands. Seriously! |

Was an incredible game, for it's time - I rank logging into AC for the first time up there with my first DOOM deathmatch.

| AC1 was an amazing MMO 6 or 7 years ago, not sure how it is now but I'm assuming it's probably still pretty crazy good. May have to try it out again before Cataclysm comes out... |

Oh hells yeah, I think I still have my CD's around for some of the betas like AC, SWG, etc. That was a pretty awesome feeling when that package arrived! I still have my Mythica "Only You Can Prevent Ragnarok: t-shirt that Lila Yee the CRM for that game sent me. Damn, I'm still pissed that MS cancelled that one. Funny thing is when I'm wearing it on the rare occasion where some gamer will see it and be all "Whoa! Where did you get that? Did you work on the game? I so wanted to play that!" |

Yeah, it was like beta testing the original Ultima Online. They mailed you a CD. Crazy how far we beta testers have come, right? When I beta tested Age of Conan they made us download pretty much the entire game client each week. Instead of just patches. If I remember right it was over 29GB. |

Memories... nothing but memories...
Seriously, Turbine, I have money for you. Make another AC, and make it like AC1. Skill based. Gear that can be dropped on the ground. No flight paths, just the learned ability to create a portal in two locations. HUGE world. Carrying around tapers (etc) sucked, but I liked the idea.
I miss AC. I tried to play it a year or so ago, but the interface was too frustrating to use. |
