| Maybe I can now play the game with newer graphics? When it's fully out which like the ongoing patches will ongoing for all eternity. Not that there is anything wrong with that. |

Meh. The graphics upgrade is not really worth the trouble according to that video.
That said, this game is awesome in patched form and will forever rank up there with System Shock, Thief and Doom.
Props to the patch makers. |

ATTENTION DEVS AND MARKETING WONKS:
Take a look at this game - it is Homerian in the lessons you could take away from it, both in what makes a game great - and how NOT to release/support it.
Once again, bravo to the community that continues to support this game. I'll look forward to yet another play-through once they finish this.

It looks fantastic, had no idea that made so much progress. Noticed a lot of improvement in graphic detail and lighting effects from the video, really looking forward to see the first NPCs. |

| Source barely improved at all. All I've seen since the release of HL2 is a couple lighting effects. Most of its improvements were in the back-end and make only subtle impressions on the end user. |

Because the upgrades were so gradual, it was easy to miss just how much better looking the Source engine got over time. But suffice it to say this would be a prompt jump in visual fidelity for Bloodlines, an already outstanding game.
I hope they pull it off. |
