| The iPad doesn't multi-task. A total waste of money. |

Not to mention 500 is for the base model and nothing else. As an another article mentioned, going up from the 16 gig base to 64 gigs, getting the keyboard, protective case, and a few other essential peripheals and all of a sudden DING it's $1200. No, this thing is just a vastly overpriced toy. |

No matter how they market the ipad, it's not price competitive. As a laptop substitue it's too expensive. As a phone it's too expensive ( and too big), as a games platform it's too expensive. It's ps3 priced with the features of a wii. (ps3 launch no less!)
if it was 200 bucks I'd probably buy one, but any higher and a laptop or netbook starts looking better. Maybe even 300 would be ok. |

I have absolutely nothing to say about the iPad. I have absolutely no motivation to click that link. |

All the reviews I've read basically say all the same thing, once you get past the intial "neato" factor it's pretty useless. All it's good for is multimedia, and not that great at that. $2 for a virtual marvel comic and a $500 device to read them? LOL! There's gonna' be a ton of buyers remorse over this thing.

I just like to say I love how app developers are cashing in on the iPad.
A number of developers (EA included) are offering "HD" versions of their games causing you to re-buy games you may already own. Not only re-buy but pay more than its iPhone/iTouch counterpart.
Granted you do not have to do this. iPhone/iTouch apps will run on the iPad (provided they updated it. But then again the developer could just not add the necessary updated code to the iPhone/iTouch version forcing you to re-buy the apps more expensive brother. |
