No PC Splinter Cell Conviction Demo

A tweet by Ubisoft's UbiMultipass (aka Li Kuo, our second favorite multipass since Leeloo Dallas Multipass), confirms that the Splinter Cell Conviction demo expected tomorrow is exclusively for Xbox 360. Word is: "Sorry guys, tomorrow's demo is for X360 only. There are no plans for a PC demo."

Whenever the PC vs console piracy debate comes up, I immediately think back to all of the many threads (here and elsewhere) where I have heard things like, "I already bought it on Xbox/PS, so I just torrented the PC version." I think about my brother-in-law, who buys console versions and pirates the PC version. Or my nephew, who admits he does the same. Or my neighbor, whose computer I keep having to fix because he gets viruses and trojans from warez sites from downloading PC games. When I ask why he doesn't just buy the games, he states there's no way he's going to pay for them twice - he already paid for them for his PS3.

I can't help but be taken aback by the irony of 'consolers' deriding PC gamers about the level of PC game piracy when a HUGE portion of piracy is by console gamers who have no stake in the platform, thus don't care about its future, or if it even is going to have one.
