It's always hilarious seeing pc fanboys trying to pretend a game will suck.Conveniently when they find out it might not come out for the pc of course.
You guys aren't fooling anyone. |

What's a DeathSpank? Is that the same thing like a Donkey Punch? Cleveland Steamer?
Umm... ya, I don't feel saddened by this news. I just feel a little bit annoyed. But I have a feeling that this game will be on the PC somewhere down the road. Just a feeling. Pachter OUT! |

| The recent Monkey Island games were by Telltale, this is by Hothead. I can see where you could mix those up, but no relation here. Ron Gilbert didn't work on the MI Adventure games either, as far as I know. |

In any case, that's really beside the point. I <3 Ron Gilbert, and I want this game on PC.
Creston I still don't see how, as EA Partners is only a publishing/distribution arm that is comprised mainly of non-EA owned development studios using the EA pool of money to distribute and promote. So in theory, yea they could get screwed over due to crappy distribution and marketing avenues, but considering that, again, the arm is not EA-strict employees, it really wouldn't be much in terms of EA's foul-up.
Besides, EA is the lesser of the evils out there right now, and one that actually hasn't done much in the way of pissing people off lately. |

| Gotta say, with a name like that, I'm not terribly concerned whether it comes out for the PC or not. If the name was more over-the-top-stupid, like Space Bunnies Must Die, I'd buy it just for that. But I just don't do run-of-the-mill-stupid. |

Then again, it IS EA, so that's about what we expect from them.
I love Ron Gilbert's games. I hope it comes to the PC. It sounds funny as hell.
Creston Well, seeing as EA Partners isn't what I'd call 'normal EA', then I really don't see how the comparison fits, as EA Partners is really comprised of maybe 4 true EA personnel and the rest are third party studio heads and the EA Partner is nothing more than a publishing and/or distribution arm of this 'group'.
That said, I do still expect a PC version of this to come out in a more direct method from Hothead. Yeah, it's like GOD Games. It's going to revolutionize the industry, do away with publishers, be the greatest thing since Pong, etc etc etc. It's still got EA behind it, so that means that it'll get fucked with at some point, and it's not going to work.

| probably just means that since it's a digital download, HotHead Games will distribute it by themselves, through Steam or its own digital download service, like they did with the Penny Arcade titles. |

What's with all those over-the-freaking-top retarded decisions against the PC of late?! Fuckin' conspiracy going on or what?
Leaving a Diablo-clone out for PC is just... well, I can't fathom the stupidity of it. It's beyond me. I'll leave that to someone else. |
