Considering it's not that hard to find out scene news, I'd figured you'd be right on top of it. You do know what using google and a quick search is right? Now I could have posted the nfo or something and watch yet another post get deleted but I didn't feel like it.
That's not really conformation either just a FYI, it's no more authentic then what I posted. My earlier post quoted the scene release name which was nuked into oblivion for some funny reason, again anyone using google could look it up too. Google, the worlds largest pirate engine. |

I meant actual confirmation. When someone here says that it worked for them, then we'll know. *cough** Jerykk**cough* I'd like to know myself - if there's a working crack in the wild, I may consider purchasing it and just playing the warez version.
EDIT: Now THIS is confirmation: There is a torrent on "D" for Silent Hunter V right now. Cracked too. I can confirm it works since I was playing it tonight. Matter of fact, to crack the game's "Harsh" DRM all you have to do is copy the contents of the enclosed directory into the main file path. Easy as pie. Icewind

Just to point out again, the game and the update has beed cracked. We should pirate this and every Ubi game that has DRM, maybe then they will learn and remove this terrible "protection". |

| It is absolutely hysterical that they have cracked this game already. I thought with all the UBI hype it was going to be a few weeks delay. Man, this makes it even more ridiculous that UBI is punishing paying customers. Idiots. |

| Posting links is dumb, agreed. However, pointing out that both the base game and the 1.1 patch have already been pirated is quite topical. Glad to see that Ubisoft's oh-so-wonderful copy protection fell flat on its face. Wonder if they'll actually wise up, or come up with something even more draconian? |

Dorma - why are you promoting piracy? - I don't think you needed to post the name of the file to prove you point, all you have done is help those who wish to grab the pirated copy I seriously doubt they're having a problem finding it anyway...

Dorma - why are you promoting piracy? - I don't think you needed to post the name of the file to prove you point, all you have done is help those who wish to grab the pirated copy - which is the reason (or at lest one of the reasons rolled out by publishers) why we have all this DRM shit in the first place.
To me, you have gone and broken rule 3 of the forums rules. |

| Well the good news is that if you buy the game and want to play it offline or when you travel etc without internet connection you can get the crack. |
