Out of the Blue

Super Bowl Sunday is here, one of my very favorite holidays of the year. The chili has been cooking all night, and I've been contemplating taking my first stab at making some Buffalo Wings, but I'm not sure I will work up enough motivation for that. You'd think we were planning a Super Bowl party with all that, but it is just me and MrsBlue (and the doggies, of course -- Gunnar-man actually watches portions of football games on TV). If I was a betting man I'd take the Colts and give the 5/6 points, but I'm not, so I don't have a particular rooting interest except for hoping it's a good game.

an iMac? I think you have to be "working on" at least three screenplays to qualify for one of those.

Seriously, you're posting to a gaming forum about getting a Mac? Shall I castrate you now or later?
Give me a break, I was gonna dual-boot Windows on it if I did.

The new Quad Core iMacs are decent rigs: 2.6 i5 or 2.8 i7. The only real bottle-neck on them is the video card. Plus the all-in-one made it a little nicer on my desk,.

I've liked OSX as my regular casual OS for a while now on my MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz C2Duo). It's a change of pace from work PC where I sit behind for 8 hours a day.

But now that I have to get back into the Windows programming world for work I've been staying in my Windows partition more and more, so I figure I might as well just go full Wintel machine.
