So it's either going to be a whole lot of Smaug, or, more likely, a whole hell of a lot of Battle of Five Armies.

Or both. That's one hour right there.

since it uses multipliers, don't start shooting until the timer reaches about 12-15 seconds left.

Ah, you're right. I assumed when they got to the other side of the screen they disappeared, but they don't.

13103, using that method. The fact that he uses a rail gun certainly helps.

After already having had Lord of the Rings, why the fuck would anyone be interested in The Hobbit? There's like three good scenes in all of The Hobbit. How he's gonna milk that into two movies is beyond my understanding.

If it's anything like Two Towers or Return of the King films, he'll take one action scene barely represented in the book and make it 1/2 the movie.

So it's either going to be a whole lot of Smaug, or, more likely, a whole hell of a lot of Battle of Five Armies.

I always confuse Teh Black Hole with Bruce Dern's Silent Running. A remake of TBH has potential to be great, so I'm all for it.

There are a lot of - potentially at any rate - good films on that 49 films list. That Jim Carrey/Ewan MCgreggor one could be funny as hell.

I have fond memories of "The Black Hole." Sure, it was campy and cheesy, but at the time it was pretty awesome.

I agree. I've not watched it in a few years, and the last time I did, I remember thinking it hadn't exactly held up well, but I still love it.

As a kid, seeing Maximillian for the first time (and then him promptly slapchopping someone) blew my mind, and the ending, implying that Reinhardt was in hell, still surprises me, coming from a Disney movie.

And the theme song, oooh the theme song... you can find it here, BTW: http://www.amazon.com/John-Barry-Collection-Jan-Smolik/dp/B00005BADD

"The Funnies: Can Attack Dogs Be Rehabilitated."

Fascinating article, but something makes me think that Blue may have mis-tagged it...

Methinks you are correct. Fix now (thanks).

Can Attack Dogs Be Rehabilitated - interesting, there's been another child killed by a (illegal) dog over here and this morning the BBC had some expert on who was complaining about the dogs automatically being destroyed because he felt there was a missed opportunity to learn something.

But good luck with that, "the people" always demand "something must be done" whenever they are ashamed of not having made sure "something" got "done" before the bad stuff happened.

Wow, nano particles of aluminum and ice (hydrogen) is pretty wild and would make a for crazy cheap and easy rocket fuel that could be made on the moon or mars (now that we know they both have water.) Baring the cost of producing nano-aluminum of course.
