I really hate when Intel starts pulling the multiple socket crap. That said, Core i5 is basically the consumer end product and everything else is intended for fringe enthusiasts/corporate, going by their roadmap documents anyways.

I have the parts for my new system build already planned out. I was looking at the Core i7 750 because of its easy overclocking ability. I was going to wait until after Thanksgiving to see if there would be any deals on the parts I've picked. Now comes news of new chips in January. Crap, I don't know if I can wait another two months to see if it's worth it.
