Out of the Blue

Frans continues to work hard on behind-the-scenes stuff here, but some of it bubbled to the surface yesterday, as some new features on the forums, where there's an easier quoting option, as well as a more noticeable reference to the forum rules.

Also, as noted on Darwin Online, today is the 150th anniversary of the release of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species. Thanks to Frans for that as well.

It takes faith to believe in God, Jesus, evolution(macro), and even nothing(atheist). This world and its people coming from nothing? To many precise calculations to come from a random event. A few degrees closer to the sun and earth would be inhabitable. A few degrees the other way and it would be to cold for life. Then look at biology and the structure of life. There is a God if we want to believe in Him or not.

Erm....no. You are wrong on a few points here.

It takes faith to believe in God and & Jesus and Santa and all that Ill grant you that. But on the other two points you are wrong my friend.

Belief in evolution is not required, read a little bit about the scientific method before making statements like that.

Do you believe that the earth is flat?

Atheism is the lack of belief. You know? The opposite of belief? Savy?
