Lost all respect with this poor excuse for a review. Well, I didn't say I agreed with all of his reviews. I just have always enjoyed his writing style. Even in the reviews I didn't agree with.
As far as the All Aspect Warfare review goes, I've been under the impression that there are just some games where the industry pressure to score a game a certain way supersedes journalistic integrity for reviewers, especially on "always-safe-for-slamming" Smart games. It was always my opinion that the Halo series fell into this category, only to the "must-score-it-a-TEN" opposite end of the spectrum. Kudos to you for being the brave lone voice on this one.

JaguarUSF: As far as "All Aspect Warfare" goes, most people seem to agree with Brett Todd instead of you. You're the odd man out in this one, actually. |

Was just talking to a friend of mine about Torchlight, he said he had read somewhere that Runic just wanted pump the title out ASAP to show investors that they know how to make a good game, and get them interested in a full fledged sequel with multiplayer and all that jazz.
It's a fun game that's for sure. But even for $20 it just doesn't do enough for me. Maybe if it was $30 and included multiplayer, but I'll just wait until D3. |

What? GameSpot is still around? At least they have Brett Todd writing for them. He has always been one of my preferred reviewers in gaming media. I especially used to enjoy his columns in the now defunct Computer Games Magazine. |

| The girl is the Vanquisher. And if you have some experience with Action RPGs, don't play on Normal - play on Hard. It's the best balance between fun and challenge, as Normal is a bit too easy. |

I am very much enjoying Torchlight right now, a very fun and addictive game. I have made the Alchemist and the .. whatever the girl is.. both up to level 14'ish.. I have noticed that I'm seeing mostly "resist" gear, and I have pets that take most of the npc damage, and they never die.. so not sure what I'm doing very right, or if this game is easy.. Whatever, I really enjoy this game |

Finally a Torchlight review from a major source. While I was hoping it would get higher than an 8, I'd agree completely that it "Does very little that's new."
Still love it, looking forward to more time this weekend. |

Mr. Tact Apr 17, 2013, 12:33: Pretty sure that's the definition of trolling... |
