Finally, Ogre3D will be MIT License from v1.7. The Ogre3D folks specifically are changing the license to make it even easier for commercial and non-commercial developers to use the engine.

Seems a lot of people here misunderstand open source. You can use the engine without a single code change as long as you are willing to deal with any issues it comes with, but Ogre3D also has a support section in which the developers of Ogre3D help you for a fee and they often use this to stay in development and fix issues in the engine/add features.
Game looks good, hoping for a multiplayer option sooner rather than later though, wanna smash some monsters with my brothers.
