As far as the TQ fanpatch goes, I see that the 1.17a patch is for digital downloaded versions. Should I install this in place of vanilla 1.17 or after 1.17? I can't find the answer in the readme's. If I remember correctly the 1.17a patch was released in order to update the version listed by the digital game copies so that both hard copies and digital copies could play online together. In other words, you can install 1.17a on any copy without a problem. I'm not 100% sure of it, though. A little digging around might be in order.

FYI, Best Buy has Titan Quest +expansion pack for $10 in the 'old+classics' section where all the games are $10. Don't look in the regular RPG game section.

Is East India Company a good game? I never found a review that gave me a good impression of what it was like.

10$ for both game was really fair to me. I already played TQ but not Immortal Throne. Which patch is a must you say? 2 seconds after confirming buy, I had a souvenir about people saying there was DRM crapware installed with this. I guess I should not worry as many have bought it already... EDIT: the answer to my 1st question was there after I finished typing it. This comment was edited on Oct 12, 2009, 21:48.

yes, then install the fan made patch. I agree. Make sure you pick up Immortal Throne and start with that, it'll take you through the entire game then the expansion. The best place for TQ info is here: http://www.titanquest.net/forums/ You'll find the fanpatch in it's own subsection.
