There was a weather advisory for the past two days in these parts that was for windy conditions that seemed to apply to pilots and sailors more than the rest of us. That was until I drove to get the pups some food yesterday, and encountered delays getting around as downed trees and such were cleared. Then I hit an area where the dying autumn leaves were falling like a blizzard from being blown across the road straight from the trees, and as I passed through, my car was pelted by acorns being carried by the wind that sounded like bullets. Wind warning indeed. Wow!

Not sure where to post this request so here goes:

Mailing it to Blue or me would have been better than posting it.

Is there some way to combine these two accounts with each other, keeping the post count and actual posts on both?

I moved those 10 stray posts over to your main account, and deleted the other one. Now you can change your email address.

So change the email address on your secondary account...

And I'd hazard a guess that having two accounts merged isn't likely to happen, and you'd best abandon one of them.

Not sure where to post this request so here goes: I have two accounts here at Blues News. This one (my main one) with an ancient email address that I've not been able to use for more than 8 years, and a secondary account i must have created when i forgot the password to this one. (i don't actually remember why i created the second account) Is there some way to combine these two accounts with each other, keeping the post count and actual posts on both? I can provide user information to prove i have both accounts. Obviously i won't give that information here on the boards. If you look, this account was created back in 2001. But anyway, let me know what i can do about this. It's been bugging me for years that i have to sign in with an email address i can't even use anymore.

The wind was pretty heavy by us, but I've witnessed much stronger bouts in the last year or so in the NJ area that (like recently) weren't revolving around thunderstorms. And about two years ago we had a huge (but short) storm that knocked over a tree in out backyard, our neighbor's across the street, and just made a real mess of things.

That being said, my commute was delayed and rerouted yesterday due to wind damage. I commute via local roads and I guess a few trees went down and a traffic light.

One tree is still sitting on a person's yard this morning. The thing didn't look that tall but DANG it had a thick trunk. I'm surprised something so... stout was wrecked by that wind. I wonder if it was a diseased / rotted.
