Would Storm of Zehir work if I have the retail version of NWN2? According to the site, yes.
It's a steal at $5. It reminded me of Icewind Dale, so if you liked those games you should check it out. |

Medwynd: Steam and impulse will mention on the game's page if it has additional copy protection like securom. I would have expected d2d to do the same? Although I've never purchased from them so I don't know.
Personally I love steam and I'll even repurchase older games that I have retail copies of when they go on sale cheap on steam just to have the conveniance. For instance, bioshock, and I want to get some of those recent lucasarts packages even though I own retail of pretty much all the star wars lucasarts related older games.

Steam only for two major reasons:
1) They don't remove games from their catalog for download (gog.com removing Toca and other CodeMaster games).
2) The DRM doesn't interfere with mods (unlike Direct2Drive).

Titan Quest for $5 is definitely a great deal.
I'd also recommend Age of Conan, as well only $5 if you have a solid machine and are looking for an MMOG that is solid bit different than your typical WoW clones. |

I wasn't thrilled with Titan Quest when I played the demo when it came out. The fonts were horrible and it looked like you were playing Word. But for 5$ I decided to give it another try. I don't purchase games through download because I actually like having something physical in my hands to show for my hard earned money.
Now that it is downloaded and I went to play I have to activate it through D2D and it wants to install a securom installer. No thanks.
I applied for a refund and probably won't buy from there again, I'll just stick with box copies for my games. |

| Not that it's a bad game but Sony is still charging for the Planetside game client? I was under the impression that you download the free version and can upgrade to the full one when you start paying the monthly fee. |

Anyone played Storm of Zehir? Is it any good, or at least worth 5 bucks? It's not too bad. Not 8+ material, probably 6-7ish in my book but I'm a hard CRPG critic, but for $5? Sure worth it. I'd suggest running a character through before they get uberlevled however otherwise it'll ruin all the fun.
The terrain-top system like BG was the big thing that I really enjoyed. |

Just bought Drakensang, Neverwinter Nights 2, Titan Quest Bundle, and Frontlines Fuel of War. That's a ridiculous amount of gaming for 20 bucks.
