I'm holding off on the game right now just because once I buy it I'll get nothing done, and I've got a lot of work to do atm. XD

I think it's just the console versions of Max Payne 3 that are out today. PC version was pushed back to the end of the month iirc. Still, I'm sure there are plenty of console gamers that own a PC and opted for D3. Should have just pushed all versions back a couple of weeks. It boggles my mind how some companies still don't seem to understand that certain games need to be given a wide birth.

I'm getting pretty tempted to snap up Warlock. Most of my 4X gaming has been in the realm of sci-fi lately(been fiddling around in Endless Space, and it's great), but I wouldn't mind something with more fantasy in it for some contrast.

Am I the only one that wouldn't be surprised if much of the Gamespy editorial team gets the axe in the coming months? Despite the claims in the press release that both sites will remain intact because of "loyal followings" there is a lot of over-lapping articles between the two and redundancy in the writing staff after this merger takes place. It wouldn't make much sense from a business perspective to have so much bloat. I suspect IGN wanted to get their hands on FilePlanet and Gamespy's server browser, hence the merger. By next Spring I think most of Gamespy's editorial staff will have been let go, with the few survivors being absorbed into IGN.
