I use Free download manager. I only started using it a few months ago but for something free I was surprised how compareable it was to GetRight, and IMHO, better.

The only review I've seen that is remotely negative is the one I read on PC magazine earlier:

long-ass URL to Pc Magazine review

It really made me question whether I like all the changes they've made as well...

It's nice to see Steve Weibe get that record back, if only to irritate Billy Mitchell.

Nice little preview but who uses the word "condensation" when talking about game features? I'll admit it's a clever use for the word but it still made me think something was getting wet

Sounds like Billy Mitchell is still the same tool he was in "The King of Kong"

I'll always remember Dennis Hopper opposite Christopher Walken in "True Romance", such a great scene and obviously written by Tarantino.

MS security essentials uses minimal system resources unlike anything from Symantec. Along with a Firefox only browser and the noscript addon, that's safe enough for me.

Maybe my comprehension is different from yours but the review clearly says in the last paragraph that he does not recommend SH5 in its current condition. Both SH3 and SH4 were buggy messes when they were released so it doesn't surprise me this is the same. I agree with the author that if SH5 gets the same patching up as the previous two titles it will be a decent, maybe even, great game. As long as it has the asinine DRM though I won't buy it. In fact, the only UBISOFT games I would even consider buying are ones with working cracks, and only once they are in the bargain bin for less than $20. Screw UPLAY.

I remember the original Bard's tales games taking forever. Of course, you had to manually map everywhere you went...

Even on Steam the fail UBISOFT DRM persists. From Steam's page for it:

"3rd-party DRM: Ubisoft’s Online Services Platform. Ubisoft requires a permanent Internet connection to play this video game at all times. "

k,no thx, bye

And WoW isn't even a free to play game! That is some ridiculous pricing there.

News Comments > GTA: Episodes From Liberty City Ships
7. Re: Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City Apr 13, 2010, 11:26 Shok

Thanks guys. I don't think I'll be picking up GTA IV anytime soon then; I prefer action eye candy to story and missions.

I guess I can see myself getting bored of JC2 also. The PC vehicle controls can be squirrely unless you use a 360 controller (or in my case a PS3 controller with 360 emulator software). I couldn't fly planes at all with keyboard and mouse but they are manageable with a controller.

Did I mention I love the JC2 engine?? Some dev needs to make a proper flight sim with it. An update to Longbow 2 with this engine would be awesome. Nap of the earth flying and the sensation of speed is just perfect for a heli sim.

3. GTA4 vs. JC2 Apr 13, 2010, 10:57 Shok

So I never really was "in" to sandbox games that GTA pioneered. But last weekend I started playing Just Cause 2. Man, what an open ended game it is. The engine is just phenomenal going from flying a jet up in the clouds with an amazing sense of speed at one moment and then seemlessly jumping from rooftop to rooftop like spiderman the next.

Anyway, how is GTA4 compared to JC2 for those who have played them both? Is the GTA4 engine anything like JC2's? JC2 has some amazing draw distance or is it just a trick they use to "billboard" the world and make it look like you can see for miles.

I haven't been this crazy about a game in years...
