Is this the thread where we mention?
You forgot their best ever game... Outlaws!

You beat me to it! I'm sure I wrote this in the forums before but I made one of the first multiplayer maps for Outlaws using some level editor a couple guys hacked together. My map was called "rattlesnake ravine". Lucasarts liked it and emailed me to come out and interview. I flew out for a weekend and although I didn't get the job it was still cool to see Lucasarts and meet the devs. This was back in 1997...man I feel old.

At first I thought it included a real jacket but it is only an in-game item...no thanks.

Gah, I can't imagine all the disk swapping (EDIT) wow, 11 single sided disks will be needed for that game. I remember playing Bard's Tale and Ultima4 on the C64 and swapping in 3-4 floppies throughout the games. It's 2010, can you even buy 5.25" floppies for the C64

I've seen Bioshock2 on the clearance rack in Target on two separate occasions now and haven't pulled the trigger. I think the price was like $10.98 or something. Reading the above comments about it using Steam AND GFWL doesn't make me want to buy it at all now though.

Oh Everquest memories. I quit playing years ago but have fond memories. My guild was hated on our server for being so selfish and killing the sleeper (dragon) in Sleeper's tomb and closing off content for the rest of the server. Every server had someone who killed that dragon and you could only loot it that one kill if I remember right. I was a monk and got the robe it dropped. I forget the name now, but I was uber for a few months lol.

That one will have to be from Blizz unless I can find the name of it and search on USENET. I'm at work now but I'm planning to patch everything at lunch. Hopefully it's not a big one...

I downloaded all the patches via USENET and free download manager last night. I have issues with big WoW patches via their client but luckily no such issues using easynews once I knew the names of the patches.

There's an in-game pet for buying the virtual ticket too so I guess a lot of WoW completists will have to buy it just for the pet. I still laugh everytime I see one of those $25 mounts in WoW.

4. Tux Racer Oct 8, 2010, 13:32 Shok

I did a double take last weekend at Disney. In the arcade room next to Space Mountain there's a Tux Racer arcade machine along with the standard arcade pinball and pacman machines. I had never seen it before so maybe Tux Racer has been out in the arcades a long time...

I'm waiting for this 3d fad to be over already. 3d without glasses might get me to legitimize it but until then it's still just a gimmick.

I use Free download manager. I only started using it a few months ago but for something free I was surprised how compareable it was to GetRight, and IMHO, better.

The only review I've seen that is remotely negative is the one I read on PC magazine earlier:

long-ass URL to Pc Magazine review

It really made me question whether I like all the changes they've made as well...

It's nice to see Steve Weibe get that record back, if only to irritate Billy Mitchell.

Nice little preview but who uses the word "condensation" when talking about game features? I'll admit it's a clever use for the word but it still made me think something was getting wet
