The only powertoy I need is TweakUI so I can shut off annoying dialogs. The others change things that should not be changed.

Uh, no... Messiah came out ~2 years later was originally intended. It never lived up to Perry's promise of being revolutionary engine, he was pimping Messiah almost as badly as Romero pimped Daikatana. And while Messiah didn't flop as badly as Daikatana, I guess Perry learned his lesson because we haven't heard anything about Matrix.

Nice one, Mahn.
I remember when Sierra cancelled the Mac version of Half-life 2 (or was it 3?) years ago because they said they wouldn't be able to support it like the PC version. That did make any sense then, when HL was still young, but I see what they meant by that now.

Whats the main difference between Gamespy 3D and Gamespy Arcade?
It should be noted that Arcade has a HELLUVA lot more ads than gamespy3d, but they're both over the hill and under the weight of a corporate takeover...

When I mean 'classic' Trek, I mean James T. Kirk and company
Though I would love to see an Original Series game, at this point nobody at Activision seems to care about that series. It's a shame, really I would love to see a game take place in the post-Star Trek VI timeline. I think one of the main reasons is there is so much more material to work with in the TNG universe, and more people love TNG than TOS.

Well, at least they'll explain what the happened when Voyager was caught in that borg sphere (One of the 2 weirdest things in the season finale's abrupt ending), though I'm sure all the people ranting about 'canon trek' won't take it at face value.

The word going around is that no lucasarts game has ever had copy protection. I don't what the reasoning behind this is, maybe lucasarts is paranoid about copy protected cds not working on computers but that still doesn't explain why there's no Q3 style serial number. Maybe they just have really small support group and don't want to to hit with a bunch of e-mails saying: My cd-key isn't working!!

When Blue's went offline it really screwed me up, since it's set up as my home page. So when it didn't load I assumed there was something wrong with my net connection and started trying to fix it! I figured 10 minutes later it wasn't my net connection, but by Sunday I started to worry that I would never see that blue page again....

Thank god its being developped by Taldren again, so there are no worries in it being just a cash-in! Too bad though, it doesn't seem as if Activision is interested in exploring the Original Series much, just TNG, TNG, Voayger, TNG...
