Agree, why wait until 1pm EST to release the demo?
Everyone in the USA is awake now and trying to download it. They should release demos early in the morning.

A newsgroup post would solve this, but it never seems to happen with a demo.

It's great if they release the demo on the weekend, but seems weird, because the Devs will have to track the progress from home. A bunch of bug reports will come streaming in, and no one will be there to handle them until Monday.
Maybe they don't care, and just want everyone to get the demo so they can start tweaking it next week. But I'm sure a few people are going to be living in the office.
Then again, what does it matter if the game is already gold. Anything found now will only go into the first patch.

Kick vote system will stop the cheaters.
Sometimes an admin isn't around to kick them.
There was no cheating in Tribes2 because of the vote system. Users didn't put up with it. In CS:S, we have no choice but to yell at the cheaters until they leave.

They can still be killed, but they pop up out of nowhere and start shooting.

I played it too this morning. Chaotic and a mess is right. Most servers lag and have too many people for the map.
One is the white bathroom in the prison where you fight the big ant lion. There is a control room on the 2nd floor, the shotty is just outside this room, it's the best weapon to use.
If you stop moving, you're dead.
Some have already figured it out and have 200 kills. The noobs are getting owned, or just lag out.
Yeah, they need bigger maps with the vehicles.
CTF mod is what I'm waiting for, with jet packs.
Someone make a Tribes2 mod.

Who still runs those cards?
My mom does. I handed down a P3-600 with 2 Voodoo2 SLI cards in it. It was my UT machine and still plays to this day. The good thing about those cards, is there is no fan that can wear out and go bad.

Actually, they won't release early, because then they'd have to come in for the weekend.
No, Monday to get ready.
Tuesday to baby sit the servers.
Yes, I'm waking up at 3am EST to see if it unlocks. I'll just go to bed early Monday night, but I do have work at 8am, that day.

Could cut down on some Juarzing if the game is available this weekend before it's released "in the stores."
Plus Valve could royally screw Vivendi if they release and the game is available on Steam before the store date.

T4 = T2 and T1 with new graphics.
Yes, fans wan't a remake of both game types. Kinda like T2 has the classic mod.
T4 will bring back all the fun of T2, in an engine that supports 60 people.

With overnight shipping, and tax, I paid $69.30.
I figured this thing was going to be free for those who have the game, and then they'd sell it on the shelves for everyone else who wants to buy it.
I can't believe they're going to charge money for the expansion. I've already paid enough.
