| That Dark Void reader review experiment is interesting. Thanks for posting a link to it, Blue. I doubt I would have seen it otherwise. |

Ok you can turn COMPLETELY INVISIBLE and stand right in front of a guy in the open, in a fully light room?!? Yes, it's an ability you gain by investing points into Stealth. It's divided into tiers and at the earlier tiers, the ability only stays active for a limited time and only if you remain crouched. I'll admit that the ability is a bit overpowered but DX had an invisibility augmentation and in AC, you were basically invisible whenever you held down the Stealth button. If you really don't like the ability, simply don't use it.
Active camouflage is in development and not that far off, and entirely within the scope of this game's storyline.
Hell, I had a math professor that was obsessed with the idea of abandoning the university he taught at to work in the private sector to develop the technology. |

The interface and the checkpoint saving system are the only problems for me. This game is very good. Surprising, considering the negative comments I was hearing before I played it.
Reminds me of Second Sight, but infinitely better.
Playing through as stealth, haven't killed anyone yet (except one guy with an exploding truck nearby, whoops), though I've apparently knocked out over 250 people. Good times. |

| A "bad thing" is that it runs Android? Bad poster, biased article. Almost called them a writer. Would have been a mistake. That's no writer. |

Ace Combat 6 is nice, but I just can't stomach the plot. I can't imagine them ever topping 5 and Zero in sheer epicness.
Although, at least 6 didn't have that damned destroy-the-radar-in-synchronized-fashion BS mission. Haha, yeah, the plot is indeed terrible in 6. The action is pure, though. PSP, damn. Was hoping it would be for 360 or PS3. Alas. Thanks for brightening my day, I was afraid they were canning the series entirely.
Flight semi-sims really are falling into a niche like you said. Russians don't seem to be stepping in to fill the void like Oleg Maddox is with the IL-2 series/Storm of War, or the DCS developers, which is unfortunate. |

Unfortunately, they don't say they're going to let you split up different games to different partitions in the future, just that they're going to change where Mac users are allowed to install Steam games to as a whole. |

| How about adding the ability to, oh, say, let us specify what directory to install games to? Instead of forcing them all to be on one partition. That would be swell. |

A real shame we can't import data from Fable 2 because it's not on the PC...sigh...
ibm wrote on May 21, 2010, 10:57: I think it's pretty cool it's going to come back the PC, obviously the direction the series has gone in is not to all PC gamers taste but I'm pretty likely to buy it.
edit: oh fuck, I take that back, just seen the price £39.99? lol gtfo!
Glad it's come back to the pc but I'll be waiting a few months until it comes down in price, if it ever comes off exclusive to GFWL download anyway (do they have sales?) There were sales at the end of last year/start of this one. Steam's kind of drowned them out, though. One game a week, I think it was.
Really, really looking forward to this. |

Still, too many 'good enough' games, and not enough great games. At least the companies stay in business, I suppose. |
