LOL... Maybe multiplayer missions could be made with one team (Iraq) needing to run a huge distance in a short amount of time. The other team (US) can have artillery and snipers.
What a fun idea. Or better yet the US side spawns right next to a pit that spawns Iraqi soldiers, sorta like a fish in a barrel type game.

So how's this work now? Nvidia keeps chopping texture quality to boost raw fps? Might as well add an option to turn all textures off, they're so washed out anyway.
It's amazing to see the quality difference between the Nvidia Omega drivers (which are slower, duh) and the whitewashed Nvidia drivel. I'll try to dig up a link, I saw a comparison a week ago or so.

I'm sorry about the dog Blue. It's always a harsh memory to re-live.
As a former farm kid I always hope that the animal dies very fast. Watching the pain is 100% worse than having the little pooka slump to it's death quickly.

I agree. This is warez fodder. Why would Joe Gamer need to regulary change CD keys? And if Joe Gamer needs this then why doesn't Valve add the ability to a patch?
Can anyone give a real reason to have such a program? Other than cheats and half-life are common place and you better equip the kiddies to meet todays challenges.

Thanks for the responces.
I see what you guys mean. I just feel that MW3 had more atmosphere. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe the Mechs just felt more weighty and sluggish. I didn't feel the same about MW4 for some reason. MW3 seemed to require more machine finesse to be a good pilot. MW4 seemed to go more in the direction of FPS.

I was a huge MW3 addict but these new games just look so candy colored. MW4 was horrible. It was more arcade-ie and "happy" colored. What happened to the sim qualities? What happened to the dark overcast skys? I want my dark future back! Not some Chutes and Ladders mech-bunny BS.

If by 3 weeks you actually mean 1 evening then you're correct.
Some of us work all day with computers and thus don't need 3 weeks to install an OS.

Hearing someone swear by Win98 is funny. For all Win98 is worth you might as well go back to Win 3.x.
Did you read the review? It said something like Win 98 being a broke down, primer painted, falling apart car with a hotrod engine and Win2k/Xp being a BMW. It's true.

Actually this is the first ATI release that clearly beats any Nvidia offering. The 8500 release was boned by poor driver support. So, as far as I'm concerned, ATI is having it's first day in the sun. They've released a card that beats anything on the market. Good job for them. Sure the NV30 will be good but it's already 6 months late. Just imagine what ATI will have cooking when the NV30 arrives... Exactly.

This mod is top notch.
As a thief your character actually becomes totally invisible in the shadows, only other thieves can see you. So your goal is to run from shadow to shadow and get your loot. You can turn off lights and do basically all you could do with the original game.
As a guard your character is super strong. You walk around looking for thieves. You have several sources of "light" and thus can make the hiding thief become visible. Once he's visible, or you know where he's at you kill him. Guards can also turn lights back on and re-light torches, and return loot to it's original location.
It's balanced very well. The thiefs have to hide to survive. The guards have to watch key hallways and keep track of the loot. It's an amazing game.
