Can we please have MORE zombie games? I got an idea! How about every game is required to be a zombie game? And everyone on Bluesnews would be up in arms about a single WWII game per decade but 1000 zombie games? Why not??? Oh I got another idea!! Why not do a zombie survival star fighter kick starter game?? Oh boy that would be a winner...I'm guessing 200 comments per news item! And dear god if we EVER have a COD post on here every single post is negative. Despite the fact that COD sells a billion worth in the first month. Seriously more zombies please!

News Comments > Steam FAQ Adds Early Access Caveat

So let me see with people paying Huge amounts of money to try unfinnished games ... It seems that there are quite a few games that are scams....multimillion dollar scams. These games take in millions and then the developers take the money and run. Valve gets their cut so they quietly add this disclaimer so they can point at it while they take their millions of dollars in cash to the bank and laugh about how the latest Indie games crashed and burned and the developers are spending all the money on hookers and blow......while the gamers as per usual lean over and take it up the rear.

uite a list of recent hires...

Holtman is one of the more high-profile hires at Oculus, but he's far from alone. In fact, the company has been on a real tear lately, picking up personnel from Valve, Google, Electronic Arts, 343 Studios, id Software, Bungie and several others. At least 17 have joined up just since March:

Neil Konzen, former engineer at Valve and one of the original Microsoft employees
Brian Hook, former engineer at RAD (Telemetry) and the original author of 3Dfx Glide
Adrian Wong, former lead systems engineer at Google[x:

(Glass)
Ian Field, former engineer at ARM and co-inventor of Cortex-M
Raul Corella, former head of supply chain at JawBone, Monster, and Leap Motion
Laura Fryer, former GM of Epic Seattle and WB Seattle
Paul Pedriana, former lead engineer at EA
David Moore, former engineer at RAD (Granny)
Kenneth Scott, former art director at 343 Studios (Halo 4)
Seneca Menard, former technical artist at id Software
Paul Pepera, former environment artist at Valve and 343 Studios
Brian Sharp, former engineer at Bungie
Aaron Nicholls, former engineer at Valve, 343 Studios, and Microsoft
Matt Alderman, former engineer at Valve and ArenaNet
Cass Everitt, former GPU architect and engineer at Nvidia
Ross O’Dwyer, former at head of development support at Havok
Douglas Lanman, former research scientist at Nvidia Research and MIT Media Lab

Other big-name executives at Oculus include id Software co-founder John Carmack, Quake and Half-Life developer Michael Abrash and former EA Vice President David DeMartini, the man who became famous in 2012 for saying that Steam sales cheapen intellectual property.

Way too many big wigs and not enough programmers = epic FAIL

Any one that can come up with a BULLSHIT sentence like this needs to be FIRED immediately:

I’m not one of the pioneering scientists or engineers in virtual reality, but I am one of the people that can’t stop grinning every time I see something new inside the headset, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the transformative experiences that inspire the next generation of developers."

You can buy them in-game for Free
I know my comment was regarding that $15,000 package on their website.
You get 14 ships with that, 7 of those costs $750. The other 7 are not available to buy/view so no idea on pricing but apparently they'll be pretty expensive

Excuse me while I go out outside and puke...... This is the ultimate in pay to win. Even worse as none of this stuff exists and all they released is something an indie could whip up with 50k and six months. You are seriously demented to pay this nutjob this type of cash.

I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen. People are going to give Chris Roberts 100 million to make the game. He is going to continue to promise...promise....and promise more. And Star Wars geeks are going to lick it up like you would not believe!!

The one day he is going to "sell the game" before release and walk away with about 100 million. The poor saps who bought it are then going to have to release the game unfinished to try to pay for It.

Waalaa... Roberts takes all the money ...... The game never gets your money used for development. Roberts gets enough hookers and blow to last ten lifetimes. And you all get screwed.

Mark my words.... It will happen exactly like this. Just like last time. In the meantime, some advice. Try not to spend you mortgage payment on a star fighter that doesn't exist yet and try to avoid slobbering all over the forums about this "game".

Unreasonable search doesn't seem to apply to say searching everything in the world? Why doesn't the NSA get the constitution printed on the toilet paper in their bathrooms? First of all they have their own private court which rubber stamps anything they want. Then they bug routers, hack computers and intercept phone calls.

Gamespy back in the day was great. They could have been something really special for us all. In my opinion they could not keep their costs down. They should have been able to maintain their media empire with help from us gamers.

Want to know a good example of a gaming media empire that survived? One that kept their costs down and was beloved by gamers?

Blues News.

Am I the only one that is severely creeped out by battlefield without a war? This appears to be terrible absolutely terrible version of Payday 2.

What happened to the cool atmosphere of the original call of duty? Or WWII? Or COD2.

Even Code Name Eagle was cool BUT THIS SUCKS ASS
