pretty funny about the disposable DVDs. why the hell are they selling them for 7 bucks a piece? buying dvds these days has become so cheap, and with netflix out there i just don't understand the logic...
hehe, remembering the good ol' days when blue had that big STOP DIVX button on the site.

did anyone play the last NWN expansion? I never got around to getting it and instead got TOEE. I've really loved TOEE mainly cuz I love turn based combat in the D&D world, but found the story just as lacking as the original NWN. Do the expansions spend any time with the story ala the BG games? I'd pick it up if I knew it was at least better then the original.

I wholely support the mailbag thought, and think guest hosters from the regular crew would be a great idea.
and covert the site to PHP!!! You'd have tons of users like me who would be willing to code a lot of these easy features.

much better blue. just need to work on how you position that banner ad which, at least at higher rezes is lost in a sea of empty neon blue space. definitely looks better though.

Buy a MiniDisc recorder. They've dropped in price considerably and you can't beat them for recording. I use mine all the time mostly for bootleging concerts.
Because it's a disc format you don't have to worry about time limits and running out of space. Then, just dump them into a wav program on your comp and you can burn cds.

Man, I had totally forgot about Bloom County/Outland. Thanks for bringing it up, I just went and bought up a bunch of the books, what a great comic, second only to Calvin and Hobbes.

Want a GOOD WW2 game?
Commandos 3 
I'm really having a ball with this one. Tons of peeps bitch about the difficulty but that's what I love. The first set of missions i've played through you have soooo many ways to accomplish your goals. only thing i'd ever wish for the series is a pause/command combo ala freedom force. pulling off a lot of these strategies are pretty tough in real time. I dug Max Payne 2 and all, but it took as long to beat as 2 missions in Commandos. I'll be smiling for the next month

Yeah, G4 is still really new. The studios they have out here in LA, while nice, are extremely small, and they run everything with a skeleton crew. Kinda wonder how they are doing financially considering that the majority of their ad time is still used for self promotion.
