its not good just yet. but it is starting to suck less and less. they'll be giving out buddy keys soon, so if you were hesitant to play it you might want to try it out for free then...

I'd say FFXI is the most fun yet. It's still a level grind like all the other mmorpgs but it has a better story line, better quests. Not to mention better graphics.
from what i've heard(albeit i havent heard much), i thought ffxi was all about fighting. as in thats like the only profession in the game.
the graphics on the box do look very nice though.
personally ill stick with swg. it is starting to suck less and less...

favorite death animation from the fallout series?
mine was with the avenger close up. thosands of bullets vs silly, squishy human. the results were hilarious
EDIT:
oh im glad they canned it. it would never live up to our expectations, and though i loved the style from the previous 2, i was expecting something 3d-ish, polygons and whatnot.

after you see that "masterpiece" you will pitty yourself for wasting over five minutes of your time to watch it. but on the other hand you will praise yourself for saving 50 bucks which could have been better spent by paying someone 50 bucks to kill you.

i played the beta for like 2 months.
no story in the game, no quests or anything like that
graphics were bleh but not horrible like everybody says.

i bought them well after they came out, as i am not a fan of space shooters anymore. but those 2 were just terrific.
fallout3 will be a shell of the former 2. I honestly do not believe that they can make 3rd one as good, or even remotely close to the other 2.

though it looks alright, those camera angles are hardly ever usefull when actually playing those types of games.

I'll probably take some flak for this, but having played both the HL2 and Doom 3 alphas, I think Doom 3's engine looks much, much better graphically. The Source engine didn't look much better than the modern Quake 3 engine, just with pixel shading and real time shadows.
/gives some flak.
at this point it doesnt matter which engine can do what. until WE the gamers get our hands on the retail copy, or through steam (heaven help us) we really cant judge it.
