The brand new Shadowrun, Fifth Edition Core Rulebook is available on DriveThruRPG.com for $20 bucks if you really want to geek it up. It broke first day sales and gross records upon it's release, and it's getting great reviews.

Being one of the top watched games on Twitch, it's nice they added a client. (As long as it doesn't lag the game like some built in clients do.)

Linux within a few years, I think will be the only open platform where you can publish anything you like to it on your own terms.

I went from zero to over sixty Linux games on Steam out of my collection in the six months that Steam as been available for Linux. At that pace, I should be able to ditch that pesky Windows partition in just a couple of years.

For $0, it's better than Diablo 3. And, for an online ARPG, it actually has a reason to be online, unlike DiabWoW. Yeah, it's not perfect, but I'm having fun with Deadpool.

And I agree, patches quick via STEAM.

It's not even better than tetris, let alone Diablo 3. Don't kid yourself, this one is a piece of crap.

Nah I'd have to disagree. It's not that bad at all. It's a Diablo clone using Marvel characters and it does that fine and is pretty fun. Granted I just started playing a few days ago, so I haven't ran into any major bugs or played the endgame, and I'm not sure I will.

The only thing that seemed odd about it was the way you earned heroes, but that's all changing soon in an upcoming patch. I'd recommend anyone that likes Diablo style games or is a Marvel fan to check it out.

I wish they had designed the patch system differently. It takes me hours to start the game after a patch and it seems they patch it on a near daily basis.

It patches much faster via Steam. The Steam version doesn't use the launcher/patcher at all, Steam handles all the patching.

A sequel? To a F2P game? Seems stupid. Better to continue supporting T:A while it still has a community.

Umm yeah I agree.

Yeah I think all these MOBAs coming out are all already way too late. LoL and DOTA2 own it all. DOTA2 was really too late itself, but it had the name 'DOTA', IceFrog, and Valve going for it.

I'm not sure there is that much room for multiple MOBAs, especially generic ones. Maybe one with a huge IP on it, like LotR or something could make some headway at this point.

Who knows though? We'll see.

It's already the most played game on Steam by far. I'm not sure they really need the LoL crowd.

It's also first person. You can toggle. A great shooter. PvP is tight (if there isn't lag)

Yes, but that puts you at a disadvantage playing in 1st person against other 3rd person players. So I should have clarified, to me it's a 3rd person shooter only as I wouldn't want to play it at a disadvantage.

My pet peeve with this game has always been how the 5.1 sound support that was in beta just disappeared and was never acknowledged or re-added. They said they planned to sell their engine, but I'm not sure how you sell one without 5.1 sound support. I think they should have just stuck with Source.

I haven't found any built-in Twitch clients that work worth a crap. Like the ones built into Planetside 2 and Black Ops 2 seem to introduce a great amount of lag.

The best stand alone client I have used is Open Broadcaster Software. I can't even tell it's running when broadcasting. Maybe Valve should base their Steam Twitch client on OBS's code?
