Over reacting much? lol

It's not like this is some kind of surprise. BIS announced they would do this and why months ago. With the MP, editor and user content (not to mention compatible with Arma 2 mods/missions/islands/etc) this is no big deal. The SP campaign is just a nice to have feature, always has been with Arma. Clearly some of you are new around here.

Yeah, I'm new to gaming. Of course, Operation Flashpoint and the other ARMA games had no campaign at release, too? Right? RIGHT?

Btw, some people enjoy playing campaigns and even buy games to play them instead of the multiplayer content. These are all noobies, of course.

Good luck finding the problem, Blue. I hate it when something like this happens, unlike a friend of mine, who usually enjoys swapping parts to detect the problem.

Dear WoW, please call again once you're free to play. I might consider dating you then, but don't count on it.

Here's an idea, ActiBlizz: give away the base game for free and make that part (and ONLY that part) free to play. I'm sure a lot of people will bite and give you money for the dozen (or so) of add-ons.

It's a full price beta now WITHOUT THE CAMPAIGN! That's quite an awkward release: give us your money now, get the rest of the game later. Or maybe not. Stunned

WOW! I've just watched the first decent movie by famous hack Uwe Boll. I'd give "Attack on Wall Street" a 6/10, no, wait, even a 7/10. And now I have to make sure I'm not dreaming and pigs can fly. Boll made a decent movie... What next? Valve puts a crowbar and the number "3" on the start page of Steam on its 10th birthday?

Zombie Massacre > Attack on Wall Street I must be a Uwe fan, I've seen both. The storyline on Attack on Wall Street is pretty good.

Zombie Massacre sounds extremely cheesy, but Attack on Wall Street (especially the first part) was actually pretty serious. That half of the movie was a well played (Purcell and Karpluk) drama. I didn't expect that from Boll. Zombie Massacre sounds like it's much more up his alley. Hell, even Rampage showed a few signs of actual filmmaking (I'd give that a 4/10), but Attack on Wall Street was surprisingly okay.

Nine Inch Nails - March of the Pigs
Saw that song live two weeks ago

I envy you!

They won't perform live over here as far as I know.

But at least I saw Floyd perform "Welcome to the Machine" live twice back in the day. Lucky me! Guitarist

But no matter how good the space sim is, the illusion of actually flying in the awesome vastness of the universe is quickly removed by the realization of it being nothing but a few 3D models surrounded by a high-rez texture that's "the infinity of space". Adding depth to this by making planets to land on, with FPS content, makes the magic that much more magnificent. To complain about it is to complain about a loving relationship with your partner containing sexual intercourse. w00t!

So, you would like to have chess being a part of poker games, because otherwise poker wouldn't be like "a loving relationship with your partner containing sexual intercourse"? Hilarious. Was "X-Wing" a bad game, because "Dark Forces" was not a part of this game? What the hell are you talking about?!

I know I've criticised this game before, but I actually want it to succeed. I'd like to fly in space and relive Privateer/Freelancer, mostly alone in single player. Then again, I wonder whether they can pull all of this off with all the additions to the game. I'd rather have them concentrate on the flight game, then - maybe as an add-on? - on FPS shooter elements. Please don't suck, and even more, please be published some day!

I'm downloading Bioshock: Infinite as we speak, and heard a lot of good things about it. Didn't it sell well enough to keep the team to work on a successor?

Except that this attack would be totally stupid. They're mostly all bad guys in this civil war. Defeat Assad, and the islamists (Taliban, Al Quaeda, and other nutjobs) take over. They're already fighting the FSA, i.e. the rebels that started it all. A military strike would help NOBODY. This is not a good guys vs. bad guy conflict, best to stay out of this.

I believe the idea is that they broke with the Geneva Protocol, and if you don't enforce it, it's useless. The problem in Syria is that both sides are supposedly using it so any strike against one side or the other is just an excuse to give the other side a helping hand. Are these strikes supposed to take out production, storage facilities or delivery means? So far it just sounds like an excuse to attack the Syrian government without specifically addressing the actual problem.

It's also got to do with Russia having a naval base in Tartus, Syria. It's their easy access to the Mediterranean, and the islamists following Assad would most likely throw them out of the country. So it's not about helping one side in the civil war, but about blocking the Russian access to the Mediterranean. It's just another game of global power chess.

It is a more than a small gaming pity that Defense Grid 2 will be a SteamDRM exclusive, it makes it difficult FOR ME to give the developers money.

Fixed it for you. Most people have no problem with Steam, although it is a DRM system, but not a really annoying one.
