Guys, I stand by my word: if this is any good, I will support SC and pay the $$$. So IF it comes out as intended, tell us about it.

Yeah, let's all be harsh on this game and the people behind it. How dare they make you pay for early access to alpha and beta?
Seriously, let's be harsh on it. Anyone who backed SC at the time got full alpha and beta access as well as the final game for just $35, less than the cost of a regular AAA game. You can still pick up the game and alpha access to the DFM for $35. Meanwhile ED costs $150, which is three times the cost of a normal finished game. So yeah, fuck them.

And how do you like the Flight Module? Is it fun to play?

How about Far Cry 4, is that fun to play?

Oh, so FarCry 4 was supposed to come out some time ago? I didn't know this.

Yeah, let's all be harsh on this game and the people behind it. How dare they make you pay for early access to alpha and beta? You're of course entitled to get this for free, like every AAA developer lets you get free access to their alpha and beta stages of their games, right? And this game must be shit, I mean, it's actually coming out! How much cooler is SC, the stunning Hangar game?

Guys, really. Sometimes I think some of you should get out of your rooms because the lack of air seems to make thinking difficult for some of you.

5. Ford Runner 2 May 15, 2014, 19:18 El Pit

After seeing how Prometheus turned out, I'm a bit skeptical about Ridley Scott's prequel/sequel attempts. He seems to have lost his mojo just like Lucas and (mostly) Spielberg have. I understand that Harrison is interested in making a lot of money in his old days, because his times as an action hero are coming to an end (or, as some think, may have already ended), so doing sequels to his most successful franchises (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and - although being NOT financially successful - Blade Runner) are safe bets to earn him some millions. Cash in and drop out of Hollywood, I'm sure that's his plan. He was never the typical Hollywood superstar guy anyways and seemed to be more happy living on his farm, far away from stardom.

I love those games! They got a different feeling and atmosphere from your standard AAA corridor shooters. There is a sort of menace luring behind the next corner, that is something that CoD and other shooters absolutely lack nowadays.

The movie was just fine. Not every movie needs to have an in-depth plot and top notch acting. Sometimes, just awesome creatures and good action is enough.

In this case, leave out everything but the creatures and the action. But those cardboard characters and the amazingly stupid screenplay were an insult to everyone in the audience with at least two working brain cells. There is a saying: in a good action movie, your intelligence takes a two hour break, grabs some popcorn and wishes you a good time. In a bad action movie (like Pacific Rim), your intelligence is lying in a dark corner, gagged, bound, and shell-shocked.

That sounds like a really good idea for a game, jdreyer. They would have to make it so the Kaiju didn't all come from ONE hole at one spot in the ocean though... just surround that with warships, depth charges, mines etc. on the first day and it's over.

Also, use your sword FIRST, not after the giant monster kicks your ass for like 20 minutes.

Don't remind of that dreadful movie, please. What a mess del Toro presented with this flick!

About JDreyer's idea: I love it! I'd call the cat 1 kaiju "Godzookie".

$100? SANS shipping? Are they fucking crazy?!

By the way... in Germany all Amazon orders are free shipping above 20 value.. ;p

Unless it's "FSK18" - 5 EUROs p&p.

And too many games/movies at German Amazon are censored versions, so "free shipping" is not a reason to buy this sh... in these cases.

Once GFWL finally shuts down, will there be refunds for games from developers who don't care about taking GFWL out of their games?

4. Re: Wolfenstein: The New Order German Censorship Plans May 6, 2014, 00:05 El Pit

I for one welcome our new German overlords. Long live media censorship, where Germany joins China and Russia in a fight for moral supremacy.

The German government obviously thinks that It is bad to shoot nazis. That is definitely something that the rest of the world should be afraid of. So dust off your swastikas, HE is coming back!

Put a sticker on the box of the game: "No nazis were harmed during the making of this game!" The Germans want to know!

I guess the German gamers will simply download a cracked uncensored version and play it. The lost sales will send a nice message to all those bowing to German censorship.

$45 million stretch goal, or sort-of announces it, since it is a "mystery object,"

TF2 hats? Bobbleheads for cockpits? Coffee stains on pilot uniforms?

No,, of course not. This is Star Citizen. So it will be more likely an RTS or MOBA mode which will dely the game release a bit (a few years or so).

Of course, first-person shooters are better suited for consoles. Just like real time strategy games. And there is no piracy with consoles. That's why, you evil pc nerds.
