Someone in my family almost completely ruined his life because of the legal drug aloohol. Lost his job, his wife kicked him out, his two kids even started hating him, and when he was down on his knees with nothing left, he stopped. Drugs ruin your lives, and it doesn't matter whether it is a legal or illegal drug. In the end, it depends on the choices people make: take drugs to escape your life for a short time at a very high price, or don't. Laws won't keep people back from taking stuff, only a life worth living will.

Word is the game will feature the actual voices of Sylvester Stallone and Richard Crenna, though this is because they are using clips from the movie, not because they participated in development.

Richard Crenna participating in development would have been the biggest thing in human history. He died in 2003.

R.I.P., Colonel Trautman.

Ooooh! I want a time machine!

Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?

Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?

Rifles powered by Linux purchased by US Army

Tweet your latest kill with a live shot of the guy shot dead!

Also included: automatically informs facebook of the lost user. You have to buy the app for facial recognition, though. Pro tip: make sure you don't shoot him/her in the face.

So. Enjoy shooting people even more now! That's progress, baby!

I was at one time trying to get myself to play the 1st Witcher game so I could continue on to the second....but I can't. Every time I start to play it I put it down in frustration within the first hour. I am sure there is a good story in that game, I just can't find a fun game in it. The controls and the UI drive me batty. I have decided to just use Youtube to catch up on the story line and than play Witcher 2...and hopefully not run into the same problem. It's odd for me to have this problem, usually I am not very picky when it comes to gameplay mechanics if the story, art, music etc are all well done and they seem to be in this game.

I had my problems with Witcher 1's controls, too, but once I had mastered them, I found out that it is an awesome game. I started playing Witcher 2 shortly after its release, but got distracted with rl problems. I haven't played Witcher 2 since, but will definitely later this year.

EDIT: Aaaaand... backed Dungeonforge!

You know, I've never liked the word "sanctum." It's like the words anal and rectum got married and had a kid, and that's the kid's name.

That kid's name is real, and it's called rectal. You might want to look it up in a dictionary.

Have they purchased Mark Hamill yet?
Wrong moment to do this! After decades of C movies, Hamill is now preparing for Star Wars Episode VII (aka Darth Mouse Project) with filming starting in April/May 2014. So, he would have worked for a bottle of warm beer and a week old hot dog a year ago, but now he's back in the multi million movie star circus.

I'll never understand these people who feel the need to do this stuff in other countries when people here can't afford help. Clean up your own backyard first, then you help the neighbors.

If they did this at home, richer people whould demand to be helped for free, too. They might even go to court and demand to have this "discrimination" stopped. And politicians would try to stop all the freebies because it would "hold the poor people back from striving for work and money."

However, I bought it and at the time forgot my normal GFWL login, was drunk, so I created a new one for this title. Shortly after only playing the first 30mins or so I had a HD crash. To this day I can not for the life of me figure out what i used for the login and none of my standard e-mails work for recovery.

LOL! Great story.

Automatically dismissing a game because it plays best with a gamepad is stupid. That's like automatically dismissing a space sim or flight sim because they play best with a flight stick or a racing game because it plays best with a wheel. Different genres play best with different controllers.

No, it's not stupid. This is just you being arrogant. For some people, it's a choice not to use a gamepad because some people don't like this kind of control and other people simply cannot use them because of a physical disability. Ever thought about that? No? Yeah, whatever. Let the spindoctoring begin. I won't read it, Jerryk. Kthxbye.

If you missed Brothers 2 weeks ago on the Steam sale, go straight to check out. Do not pass Go. Do not collect 200 Imperial credits. And for the Emperor's sake, don't read any reviews. Just buy and play.

Well, you should read this:
"Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons requires a controller to play"

Which means I will never buy it. But to each their own.

Do you know why it requires a controller? I am not being a smart ass, legit question. The game play mechanic is designed around operating two characters simultaneously with two joysticks/pads. It isn't that they were too lazy to code in some PC-centric controls. I can't really think of a practical and comfortable way to play the game without a controller.

I simply quoted the huge bold print from the Steam page of this game.
