So, based on the current price reductions, UFO, Dishonored, and Sleeping Dogs will be 50% off just like Borderlands 2 and the latest Hitman game. Nope, can wait for those to hit prices under $20.
But it sure looks like Max Payne 3 will be 75 % off before January 5. I'll bite!
0% off of FarCry 3 - it's too new. Well, I can wait. Even a year or more.
So it'll be only one of the top 10 games on my wish list that I'm going to buy. No problem - I still have to play Skyrim and others!  |

| I really like this game. Was a steal at $5 at a Steam sale. It's a bit rough around the edges, but has a great atmosphere and makes you plan your movement/advance cautiously. Don't expect a fun but dumb on rails shooter like Painkiller or Serious Sam! |

So if you tell steam "no regional restrictions" and you only sell 1 version of your game, then everyone can play that version of your game, no matter where they are. Sales in Germany might not be allowed then, but buying via 3rd party (GMG / Amazon, etc) is perfectly allowed.
The reason Steam enforces the German version is because the publisher made a German version and enforces it specifically for Germans. Again, 100% Publisher, 0% Steam. ^^
Secondly, the real issue is that Steam has STILL no age verification.
Buying it from other sources won't help if you won't be allowed to ACTIVATE the game on Steam with a German IP unless you ignore the Steam ToS and use VPN, risking your Steam account. Therefore - don't risk hundreds of games, seek alternative ways.
I'm not blaming Steam. I'm blaming OZ and German governments and the publishers lacking balls to allow the game to be activated from Germany via Steam. |

I'd rather prefer somebody who could bring some more adult and dark tone to Star Wars. More character driven drama. Chris Nolan (Prestige, Inception, Insomina, the Dark Knight movies), or David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club), or Alex Proyas (I, Robot, Dark City). But this won't happen, because the Neckless Beard won't allow any director he couldn't completely control to come near his (yes, STILL his) Star Wars. I've just watched an interview with Darth Luca$ and Kathleen Kennedy, and Luca$ is still in control of everything.
