Great answers guys thanks a ton. He has already been on one phone interview and a face to face with the local HR person. If he passes the IT phone interview they are going to fly him out for a face to face. He did tell me they asked him about a co-worker that was slacking and what would he do. I told him to be honest and be his self. He has a great personality and lots of real world experience, but with a small company.
I kind of wish I had applied. From what he has told me it's a great company with loads of benefits.

IT Interview |

Hey guys I am looking for some advice. I have a friend that has a huge interview with a large company for an IT position next week. It is a phone interview with the head of IT and a couple of other IT higher ups.
What do you think it will be like? Will they ask him technical questions along the line of a certification test or just some general stuff? I had an interview with the manager of the IT department for the city I live in and man he grilled me like a cert exam. I was not expecting that and I totally bombed. I told him of my experience but not real sure what else to tell him.

Happy anniversary Blue! I always remember it is your anniversary as it is my birthday and my sons. And for the record I have been married for 29 years. Yea we started early lol. We hope to make it to Hawaii for our 30th next year.

We are up in the air about a lot of this, but one thing we decided at the very outset is if we move, we will drive across country with the dogs. Hudson the wonder dog is not afraid of any beast on this earth, but she gets nervous about strange sounds, is never forced to be in a crate, and has noticeable separation anxiety. She's also pushing 12 years old, and has a heart murmur, and I'm fairly convinced she would not survive a plane trip even if everything went perfectly.
That is awesome! Being an animal lover as well I would not even consider putting my dog on a plane. Just think of the adventures one can have traveling across country.
Good luck on your move if you decide to do it. I have always wanted to move to another state for work. But I will probably be stuck where I am until the end. |

I wondered why you did not mention Titanic last weekend and now I know why.
I have always found the story very interesting even before the movie. The movie did maee me dig a litter deeper into it though. |
