No shit, i was picked on in high school for being the new guy (i came into 9th grade at the end of the school year). It was mostly a senior who was doing the bullying. One day i got completely fed up with him taunting me so i turned around and decked him in the face. I gave him a black eye and no one EVER messed with me again.
In fact i was praised for decking a senior while i was only a freshman.

Are we supposed to believe the Quake done Quicker is not mod'ed?
It isn't modded. It's totally real 100% true quake with nothing but several people making speed runs for days on end, recording each session with the built in demo recorder and then compiling all the runs into that movie.
edit: they recently released a movie of the entire game being completed 100% (that means all monsters killed and all secrets discovered) in just over 33 minutes. This comment was edited on Apr 25, 11:41. |

Blue, i hope you realize that "Quake done Quicker" video is ancient. I have the original .avi video and its dated 1997.
Get the original here: http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/qdq/
As far as that planet goes, what do they mean by habitable? I wouldn't want to weigh 1.5x my normal weight and its most likely tidal locked to its star, meaning unless you lived in the "twilight zone" of the middle of the planet, you'd either have straight daylight or darkness all the time. Everything would also be tinted red.

The game has NOTHING to do with the show. Do a simple google search and you'll see why.
edit:
"A spectacular, creative, and unflinching realisation of a Clive Barker nightmare for next-gen console platforms and PC, Clive Barker’s Jericho is a new supernatural horror concept with story by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker.
Jericho deals with the mysterious reappearance of a lost city in a remote desert. When a form of evil that goes right back to the dawn of days resurfaces from there, a Special Forces squad, trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, is sent in. Their mission: Hunt down and destroy the evil that lurks at the heart of the city before it destroys humanity.
Clive Barker’s Jericho is designed as an action horror title that will up the stakes in visuals and phantasmagorical special effects. Mingling the darkest elements of Barker’s horror fiction and films with an ambitious, age-spanning story, aimed at mature gamers, fans of Clive Barker and horror fiction enthusiasts."

In other news, Google has announced it's plans to acquire Electronic Arts and rename the new company to gEAgle (and all previous Google applications will be renamed accordingly, henceforth GMail will now be known as EAmail). Now providing you with everything you've come to love from Google with EA's grand business model plus great games and music!
As part of the acquisition, all current Google users will be required to create new users under the new company and will be required to submit some non-personal information. gEAgle will also drop the Youtube, gEAgle Video, and several other non-profit parts as they don't have enough advertising to be profitable.

I downloaded the demo of Supreme Commander and was left wanting more...
I downloaded (pirated) the full version a week before it was in stores and played it till my eyes fell out.
About 2 weeks later (just a few days ago) i actually bought the game because i could see myself playing this game over and over so i wanted to support a good game.

Cutter, its known that Blizzard doesn't count non-active accounts. Their numbers are pretty close to being legit.
"World of Warcraft subscribers include individuals who have paid a subscription fee or have an active prepaid card to play World of Warcraft, as well as those who have purchased the game and are within their free month of access. Internet Game Room players who have accessed the game over the last thirty days are also counted as subscribers. The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards. Subscribers in licensees’ territories are defined along the same rules."

The city guards in Silvermoon (Blood Elf starting area) all have context menus as if they were pulled from Stormwind City and they speak in common. I hear the guards in the Draeni city are the same way...
