They would have a problem getting the pins out of my safe though

Bah, the specifications for this weapon have been around forever. I imagine it would be a simple matter of getting the specifications for the firing pin and then having one made. Not to mention that the AR15 is quite similar in design to the M16A2 - which prompts one of considering using it's firing pin as a replacement.

The firing pins are out of them, so they're incapable of firing unless you know how to tear them apart and put the pins back in.

The M16A2 is a VERY simply weapon to disassemble. I don't think anyone would have to much trouble putting the firing pin back in.

tron, Tron 2.0 is in stores today I believe so go get it.. good reviews so far as well.

Actually, I saw it in a store on over the weekend.

To answer the obvious questions:

No, it wasn't the pre-order box.
It was in an EB.
No, I didn't buy it as proof.
No, I didn't get a picture.
Yes, the clerk looked a little surprised when I mentioned that I thought it wasn't out until August 25th.

WalterEgo Said:

Go play Pokemon and let the adults convey actual ideas.

Ah, the good ol days, eh WalterEgo?

It's quite obvious that most of the 'I hate this site' and 'Blue sucks' and <Insert rude comment with curses here> are from kids who are still on summer break.

Give it time, maybe the kids will go back to school and leave the adults alone.

Of course, that could just be wishful thinking on my part...

38. Re: Win98 as a Gaming OS Jul 30, 2003, 16:15 Tigger

I'd definitely second the recommendation of XP over win2k for games - though I'd go for Pro over Home. Win2k was never a great games platform.

I don't know why - it's not like Pro is going to run any faster than Home.

But defintiely get Pro, since I don't believe Home supports SMP (or Remote Desktop, which is a life saver).

You're probably right about SMP - but the point was single proc systems - not dual.

Home does support Remote Desktop - although other products do it better...

2. Win98 as a Gaming OS Jul 30, 2003, 10:41 Tigger

I used Win98 for years and even took my gaming machine to Quakecon with Win98 on it, but eventually caved and picked up a copy of WinXP Home. I did notice a slight drop in performance due to the 'heavier' OS, but in terms of stability (I had serious IRQ conflicts with Win98), I prefer WinXP.

Of course, I still have my old gaming machine running Win98 for those games that don't work under WinXP, but thats another story entirely.

2. Re: Retarded petition Jul 16, 2003, 12:30 Tigger

Fileplanet people getting their demos as exclusive is absolutely no different from magazines who get exclusives on their cover disks. And that's been happening for a decade.

Good point - besides, does anyone REALLY think that gamers aren't going to buy a game if they sign a petition to get the demo for free?

Let me put it another way:

What if <insert new game title here> only had a demo on FilePlanet? The full game got outstanding reviews in the press and all of their friends were playing it. Is that enough to stop someone who signed the petition from buying it?

I don't think so. If it does, they need help.

You think SkyNet might be responsible?

Anything is possible, Blue.

I'd get worried if one of them starts talking about adding your biological distinctiveness to it's own, if one starts yammering about mistakes it makes being attributable to human error or if they start cooperating.
