Gabe directly says that the delay would have happened without the source theft
Sounds like Gabe is planning to run for public office with an interview like that; having Vivendi say that they were delayed by the theft when it happened rather than just admitting they were going to miss the ship date.
Almost adds credibility to the argument that the code theft was engineered/faked.

The problem is that if Derek Smart gets involved then the game will be too complicated to play, full of features not even halfway implemented and ugly unless they return to the old days of text scrolling action. Although Derek would probably screw that up.

Also, he says in the forums if the price is $20, he won't make any money and therefore there will be no patches.
If this is indeed true, he's going to have a hard time sueing DC for his loses. They could always counter-sue that he sabotaged games sales by making claims like that.

I think you may have missed his point Moog Operator. I agree that one day is sufficient to learn weapon operation, but what I think he's trying to say that you can know the material to pass a test, but it's another level of knowledge entirely to KNOW the weapon. It takes a few weeks of daily training to become proficient with a weapon.
Unless your born with some natural ability to shoot.

After additional research myself (something I had hoped to avoid), I see that really the only ammunition type that is prohibited those of the expanding type (shotguns, etc.).
It is prohibited to use WEAPONS that cause "unnecessary suffering", but the Apache's machine gun perfectly legal.

That only applies to weapons carried by personnel, and the only personnel weapons larger than 20mm the US has are the M203 grenade launcher, and MK 19-3 40mm grenade machine gun.
Thanks for the clarification - I thought it had something to do with actually carrying the weapon, but I wasn't sure.
