I did watch JfC last night, and I was thoroughly entertained. Lots of great humor, and I like the blatant supernatural angle the show is leaning towards.

I "Reserved" a download for the demo with my Fileplanet Subscription, and the Fileplanet Download Manager says:

"Est. date available: Tue, Feb 20, 2007"

Could be accurate, could be garbage. Who knows...

Now I feel bad... Maybe I went for the nukes a little early on there. Sorry about that.

It's Ok Blue, I'll recover. But if 2004 hadn't happened, I'd be comatose for a week thanks to you!

About as sorry as I am for the ninth inning of game six.

Low blow!

Now excuse me while I go cry in the corner.

Hey Blue, sorry about the shelling the Sox gave your Mets.

Oh wait, I'm not sorry at all. Go Red Sox!

I ordered HBO two weeks ago in anticipation of Deadwood. Watched the first 2 seasons on DVD, and I'm loving the 3rd so far.

What a fantastic show. Deadwood and Battlestar Galactica are the two best shows on TV right now. Bar none.

I've actually been watching a lot of HBO since I got it. It's nice to have a channel I can turn on and not have any commercials. =)

My theory on why soccer is so popular: It is very easy for anyone to *play* soccer.

To play baseball or basketball you need a higher degree of equipment and infrastructure (gloves+bats, pavement+hoop). Things not always present in all parts of the world. And forget about hockey =P

American Football definitely requires less setup, but playing from scrimmage is very different from a constant-play game like soccer.

The first game was a lot of fun. It was pretty easy, though. Then the expansion came out and kicked my butt. Never did go back and beat it...

Looking forward to the sequel!

Not that stupid, honestly. I bought the game when it came out, but I haven't played it yet (too much WoW). At this point, I'm waiting for the Patch-That-Removes-Starforce before I play it at all.

/em waits patiently.

I had thoughts of alerting animal control to the situation, but realized that by the time I got home and contacted anyone he could have gone so far I wouldn't be able to direct them to him

No Cellphone Blue?

Same here. And for some reason, the thought of researching Fantasy Tech Trees makes me happy in the pants.

The word on the street is that the new US release doesn't use StarForce.

DoD: Source is definitely my preferred FPS at this point. I picked up BF2 about a month ago, and didn't like it much after playing DoD: Source. Granted, they have much different gameplay (no vehicles in DoD:S), but the graphics, physics, dmg models are all much better in DoD:S

Reminds me of Populous. I had the first B&W and lost interest after throwing people and animals in the water to fend for themselves.

A new populous game would be cool. I still remember playing the original on SEGA?

You know that Molyneux made Populous, right? Back in the Bullfrog days.

Yeah, good for them. The gesture system was not important to the gameplay whatsoever. Unnecessary complexity != fun.
