I think most of my friends still playing are just on cruise control now (more so with the yearly thing). They don't really want to login since they're bored, but there's nothing else to play. That and they have a huge amount of time invested in their characters, so they don't want to quit.
Bring on WoW 2.0 and a character wipe. |

| Surprised it's still in beta. I've been playing it off and on for the past two years (more off than on). Fun for a few hours. |

30 minute queue last night. I think I saw two that said 1:15 hours. Yuck. Reminds me of having to login to WoW right after work so it would be ready by the time I could play. On the plus side, once logged in things are stable.
Anyone know if you jump the queue if you get disconnected? |

You get high level equipment even if you fart and most bugs and balance issues from 4.0 still exist, while new ones have been added again. I'm confused. Are you saying Wrath was hard and high level equipment didn't come from farts? Perhaps we were playing different games. |

Mashiki Amiketo wrote on Dec 16, 2011, 14:52: If they start moving back to where they were at either TBC or Wrath, they'd draw them back. 4.3 has moved back towards Wrath. The 5-man instances remind me a lot of ICC. They're fun to run. They will, of course, fuck this all up with 5.0 and their talent changes.
Also, most of my guild uses RealID. I think it sucks, but meh. They message each other when they want to raid and everyone logs in. I guess that's the point. |

This is aimed at people who don't want to use RealID... like me. I have friends in both Starcraft and WoW (and soon Diablo). They're in my guild. I know them well enough to chat with them online. I don't know them well enough to give them my email address. Using a BattleTag, I can give them my name+4 digit code (why bother remembering it, it's listed for you in the game) and add them as a friend to all my accounts.
I don't see the issue, and I'm glad to have it over RealID. |

Didn't they say they had 10 million in the investor conference call thing a couple of months ago? Seems like lying in that would be a very bad thing to do.
Also, 4.3 instances are awesome. Cata still sucks, but at least they've started to fix some of the issues. |

| I'd watch if they changed the format to something like the Oscars. Roll out the red carpet for devs. Best engine. Best voice actors. Less hype and flashing lights. |

| I think I joined it about a year ago and played for a month. It was buggy and left a bad first impression. Doubt I'd play it even if it were free. |

| I used AVG until it started throwing popups all over my machine. I've switched to Microsoft's AV now. Anything better (and free) out there? |

Could employers begin asking for Facebook passwords on applications? Sure they can ask. It just helps eliminate places that would be shitty to work for. |
