There's no humanity penalty for killing bandits, so if that's what you choose to do, you'll never have to worry about looking like one.
Interesting, I didn't think it mattered but if I can kill bandits then that shall be my new quest.
the "friendly" system is purely an honor system, you can still turn around and kill someone on a whim. Some people like to send out fake SOS messages for help, luring unsuspecting people into a trap. |

There's also no #winning dayz, you just experience it much like a theme park attraction. There's a couple of meta challenges like getting a car working again but it would be cool if there were some sort of end game scenario, generate some sort of anti serum which requires crisscrossing the map (thus needing a car) and delivering it to an aircraft for dispersal.
Maybe they have plans for something like that. It's just alpha, and as such is pretty buggy too. |

Looks like they should have called it GREEN.
I don't mind cell shading if it's done right, borderlands, but this looks bad from the start.

Windows XP is quite the workhorse, still has some life left in it and isn't due to be crossed off the support list till 2014.

Pre-ordered TL2 but I think it's the vagueness of the release date being only "summer" and the fact that D3 is out sooner, action RPG overload.
It looks good though, enjoyed watching that stream. |

I love it when they answer questions about the PC platform and act all clueless about features that will or won't be in the game, it's like the PC version is being coded on another planet with month long transmission times for communication. The reality is that it's one cubicle over from where they're making the console version.

They could get away with this with something like Grand Theft Auto V, but Max Payne 3???
They're acting like it's some sort of gold mine franchise like Call of Duty yet it's unproven if the multiplayer is even any good.
No dedicated servers, probably limited to what... 8 player peer-to-peer, using Games for Windows Live?
If they want to chop off multiplayer for console gamers buying it used then just do that one time key-code use thing where used copies need to purchase a separate online pass.
Just sad to see Rockstar go down this path, they used to provide worth while content in the form of expansions not this nickle and dime bullshit.

It's like they set out to make a future war type game sort of along the lines of "Terminator" but were too afraid to go full on sci-fi.
Will this end up being the first call of duty game to fail? Well, fail may be too harsh of a word but perhaps this one won't meet the exceedingly huge expectations in terms of sales. |
