Except for that last part at the end...
Thou shall not bypass Metro Interface in Windows 8 under any circumstances! Failure to comply will result in a jail term of 25 years and or a $250,000 fine.

So no suprise I have no desire to even care about Uplay, may as well call it Toilet as far as I am concerned. this is why it's appropriate to hate on ubisoft, not for them wanting to push out their own content delivery system.
they pump and dump worse than EA and Activision combined. |

retail is dead as dog shit, you can't blame these publishers for not wanting to bend over to Valve every time they put out a game.
I don't like the idea of only one business holding the keys the e-retail store. Sure people have a man-love-crush on Gabe and everything he does and says but imagine if they were to sell out to another corporation down the road like Microsoft. Don't put all your eggs in one basket etc. |

uhhh there's no way to add games into it that you may have purchased from other e-retailers or at retail, I know that with Steam bought Ubi games you have to launch through Steam app but say you have a key from Gamefly or something, no place to enter in the key.
I guess Ubisoft doesn't want to pay for the bandwidth if you get the game from any place other than their e-store. D- for customer support right there.
This is a step beneath Origin but just slightly better than Games for Windows Live.

| Is Windows 8 cheating on the faster boot time test? Are they booting to the desktop in Windows 8 or just to that stupid Metro start screen? |

I used to have a model train setup a long, long time ago and when I get a feeling of nostalgia to want to get back into the hobby I just mess around with this simulator for an hour and save myself thousands of dollars and countless hours of time if I were to go the physical route. |

other than playing the original C&C games on a LAN I completely avoid the multiplayer portion of these games, shame that EA had to screw this up was looking forward to it for single player with frostbyte engine and all.

you don't need to wait till the 17th You must have got something different then. All I got was the key and...
HOW TO REGISTER 1. Go to http://www.planetside2.com/ enter your serial code and create an account or login to your existing Planetside 2 account. 2. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your serial code, download the game, and play in the Beta Weekend Event August 17 - 19, 2012. 3. For additional support, please visit http://www.planetside2.com/. And that's it. After registering the key I got the standard form letter about if I get accepted blah blah blah, no forum links or anything else. did you login to your sony/planetside account?
> register the key, login with your sony/planetside id and you'll get > an email with the download link, link to forums etc.
