Sounds like it would be a fun thing to troll, especially the one where they send someone to you to demo the watch.

GTA V need another delay announcement.

Watch. 3 days before release. "Sorry! Sorry! We gotta do it again. See you in June! :D"

Is ARMA 3 worth buying?

Arma 3? It's more a combined arms simulator than a game, you need a beefy rig to run it. Don't expect a normal FPS configuration, spacebar won't make you jump - there's no jump in the sim/game. If you want to get over a fence you use a "vault" command that plays an animation of your avatar stepping over something. To enjoy multiplayer you'll need to join a community that uses teamspeak when playing - more so with Arma than other shooters.

Best advice is to go watch some Youtube videos to get an idea if it's something you'll want to invest the time into.

I recall Brink having performance issues on ATI graphics cards, by the time they sorted it out the players had quit playing the game.

They should just release it for free, might be able to fill up that one lonely server left online.

8-bit hipster shit!

I wish they would make these games at least with 16-bit graphics.

They don't have to worry about being slotted into the "uncanny valley".

The extra layer of DRM is stupid, but this is an attempt at allowing offline play after "always on" bit them in the ass for games like SimCity.

Offline play of what exactly? The single player campaign? I mean seriously, this is a lot of effort to protect the terrible singleplayer in Battlefield games. I don't have any problem understanding what EAs perspective is here, it just seems really dumb is all.

Once you've tied the product into your online service and a whole separate authentication layer you don't really need to do silly stuff like this for what is largely a MP experience.

It triggered an Account Sharing violation, it's right there in the message.

Too many computers have accessed this account's version Recently. Please try again later.

and also...

So no, EA isn't scanning your hard drive looking at what kind of porn you're into.

I know people "account share" and what they've triggered is it happening five times in close proximity. I doubt that the average user would change out their graphics card five times in the course of a few hours.

At any rate, see y'all in Star Wars Battlefront next winter!

That article says he already did the score for the next Star Wars, just not the spinoff.

Yeah, Rouge One which is a spinoff. It always amazed me that Williams maintained ownership over the Star Wars music rights, clever dude.

Fucking amazing. Disney needs to hire the guy, NOW.

They're too busy making that carebear version of a Star Wars cartoon show.

The political correctness of Disney is going to destroy what's left of this franchise.

This is timely, John Williams isn't doing the music for the next Star Wars.

Video's gone. Only question is: Which does it more resemble: Rogue Spear or Vegas? If the answer is the latter it's not a title deserving of the Rainbow 6 name.

How about Battlefield or Call of Duty. X-ray view through walls, revive system, no recoil. But hey, it's just Alpha let's judge a game before it's done.

Microsoft still doesn't get it, if you could buy a phone that also could be docked to a device that provided usb hub support and display (hdmi/display port) you could effectively have a mobile PC that could fit in your pocket. You could also leverage bluetooth keyboard and mouse support with some sort of chromecast type dongle to plug into tvs for monitor support.

An open development platform on a mobile device is their only chance of survival, but no they want to try to be apple and create walled gardens. They won't win at that game, Android and Apple are too far ahead of them.

I have no hope for Star Wars BF...coop against bots

I miss bots. No bots, no sale. Otherwise I'm renting a game with a short lifespan when they turn off the servers.

? There are third party servers for all BF games.

The server code for Battlefield games since Bad Company 2 exist only from paid hosting services, no public server files are available.

If/When EA decides to end-of-life say Bad Company 2 then you won't be able to play multiplayer anymore.

It's sort of a stupid argument, when was the last time you booted up BF1942?
