Far Cry 5 on for $40 atm - and I would presume it'll still be the same for the Xmas sale. Totes worth it at that price? I like the FC series well enough for what it is.

I thought female characters wouldnt do much to the atmosphere in this game, but after seeing 2 hours of online gameplay and hearing females scream, yell and cry all the time, this game doesnt feel like WW2 at all. It feels weird. Funny how a little bit of PC can destroy everything. Oh yeah and they also censored the Nazi flag now...
Heil PC!
I don't even mind the women being in game. I mean this is clearly not reality. However, when they die. Ugh. Even my girlfriend has commented on how fucking annoying the high pitched death screams are. I mean, you don't really notice the guys dying, but every time a woman is shot. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Damn lady! The voice actress must've been sore for days.

While the idea of getting rid of the Season Pass was a welcome idea, the resulting slow release of new content meant players didn't stick around to play any of it
I don't get it. Where is the correlation? You think EA work their slaves harder if the customers bought a season pass? Why would getting rid of the season pass result in a slower content delivery?
Personally, I have to say that getting rid of the season pass is one of the few really great things that EA has done.
P.S.: The Black Friday sale has started on Origin. BF1 has dropped to €4.99/9.99 with/without season pass.
Star Wars Battlefront II (which is season pass free) is also pretty cheap finally at €14.99. I'm almost considering it at that price though I might keep waiting for single digits. Too much other shit to play anyway...

oh no, kids getting chicken pox
it's the end of the world!!!!
Chickenpox is normally a mild disease. But it can be serious and can lead to complications or death, especially in high-risk people. Complications include:
Bacterial infections of the skin, soft tissues, bones, joints or bloodstream (sepsis)
Dehydration
Pneumonia
Inflammation of the brain (encephalitis)
Toxic shock syndrome
Reye's syndrome for people who take aspirin during chickenpox
If you've had chickenpox, you're at risk of another disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus called shingles. After a chickenpox infection, some of the varicella-zoster virus may remain in your nerve cells. Many years later, the virus can reactivate and resurface as shingles — a painful band of short-lived blisters. The virus is more likely to reappear in older adults and people with weakened immune systems.
Shingles can lead to its own complication — a condition in which the pain of shingles persists long after the blisters disappear. This complication, called postherpetic neuralgia, can be severe.
But it's not just chickenpox. People who don't vaccinate their wah wah bundles for varicella are more likely to skip vaccines for other goodies like measles, when untreated it can lead to brain damage and death; whooping cough aka pertussis, some of its joys include apneas, pneumonia, seizures and encephalopathy.
I could list more but I'm sure it'd fall on deaf ears. Which may mean you skipped the mumps vaccine which includes in its myriad of complications; Hearing loss, Heart problems and Miscarriage.

Finally broke down and made a custom-stripped version of Windows 10 after getting fed up with all the bullshit thats included with it, and all the issues I was having since the october patch.
Used the MSMG toolkit to make a custom ISO and then burn it to a usb stick once I realized my rarely-used DVD-RW drive had kicked the bucket.
Found instructions here on how to make this custom installer for Win 10. Much better route than dealing with some shady 3rd party iso download.

the hit for RTX makes the feature almost unusable except for single player and screenshots. The difference between off and on is nearly equivalent to 1080p vs 4k.
BTW, what's this $15 talk? Is that some battlefield insider pricing or some shit?
