Indeed, with the number of video games market gurus out there it's surprising that it hasn't occurred to them yet.
The failure of Lego universe in the wake of the huge success of a game like Minecraft should leave a lot to think about. |

Well actually I try to stay away from Steam as much as possible and only use it when forced by developers. Biggest problem is that my Hard disk is partitioned and I have to put all steam games in the same partition.
I want to be able to install my games wherever I want to.
If Gearbox can show Valve how to do stuff right why Not? Of course ever since Sin and Half-life came out it has rather been the other way around  |

| I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately the games that have tried a different receipe have been total disasters for their developers (thinking of Conan here) But I think what made it fail was the game's shortcomings rather than its originality. |

| I don't understand what they're saying about the lighting in the video but for sure the game is using the Unreal Engine. Their monitor clearly shows UnrealED. |

| hmmm. A ruthless bounty hunter who hunts his marks and explores the criminal underworld of the galaxy. I've seen that somewhere. Oh yes it's called Prey 2 it would seem.... haha when I read that story about Bethesda kicking Human head studios out of the project I said something like "stick a Star Wars skin on your models and go sell your game to Lucasart." It's either too late or they are the ones doing it :p |

| I am so p"%&ed by Steam. I still split my HDDs into several partitions and don't have room on one to install all my games in the steam partition. They will have to improve their stuff if they want me to use that platform. As long as they wont allow me to choose what partition I install on I will look at it as some archaic prehistoric curiosity not as the face of tomorrow. And yes unless the latest game I want requires it( bethesda I hate you ) I will get my game from other sources. |

| I didn't understand everything the voiceover said but I can't really say I have been wowed by coloured lighting since quake 2. I couldn't help but notice the car's headlight didn't light the car too but indirect lighting is too much to ask at this point. I have done my share of underwater shootings in my time but games have been so serious that lately that I couldn't resist having a laugh seeing a frogman shooting his AK-47. To be positive, the underwater scenery looks good, much better than in Skyrim for instance. |
