Wow did you guys see the size of that thing!? (ahahahah twss)

6.7GB, holy shit. Then again, since this is the patch where they gimp the entire map, after having already gimped the lighting system, it makes sense that it'd be so big.

For those who played it in the first week, remember how it looked. You likely won't see it look that way again.

Good thing I finished it already.

I don't get the hate for businesses trying new things to acquire money. Making money is the point of a business after all. And it's not like they switched their entire business model to this. I see this as an attempt to try something new(however silly it is). It will probably fail, but good on them for giving it a shot.

You delay that rational thought soldier.

Agreeing with Cutter. The market has spoken clearly on this and people's toleration for poor release quality is at a new low.

Is it? AC:Unity sold fucking freight trains full of copies... There will always be idiots who buy plain broken games then go and defend the game and the publisher everywhere they can, and are perfectly fine with buying something only to have it takes six to twelve months before it even becomes playable.

I bought AC Unity for PC - played it and finished it. I didn't encounter any major game stopping bugs myself.

Some of you guys might need to move to ISIS controlled Iran/Syria or something, where all women are forced to walk around fully covered, and you can feel more relaxed.

Also learning the difference between facts and innuendo might be helpful.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. You want to dress and act like trash that's how you're going to get treated. Women dressed modestly and professionally don't run into those sorts of problems. It's not rocket surgery and has nothing to do with men being pigs and everything to do with evolutionary traits that pertain to sex and sexual signals. You don't undo millions of years of genetic hardwiring in a few years because of some uptight PC assholes. Learn to deal with it already.

Typical blame the woman for the man's behavior bullshit. It shouldn't matter if she was nude - control yourself.

I've been playing Unity and I've almost beaten it. I had very few problems - not to say they don't exist for some people but apparently they're not as widespread as most would leave you to believe.

The story is really good - the controls are a little janky though.

It's early access - made very clear on the sale page and in the game itself. If you don't like that, or think it looks bad, then don't buy it. Pretty freakin simple. It's not a tax that you have to pay - I just don't understand all the bitching. If no one bought these things, then it wouldn't be an issue anyway.

Also, saying Garriott never got "great" down is pretty stupid. Anyone who has played Ultima 4 - 7 will tell you he at least had great down.

It ran perfectly for me from day one, this is why you buy Nvidia hardware my dear

That said, they made the damn thing stutter after patch 2, so, waiting for patch 3

Far Cry 4 until Patch 3, easy biscuits!

I have a GTX 970 and it runs really well for me as well. I do get the stutter every once in a while.

AC4 brings my pc to it's knees as well - but then I play on a tv and have to enable vsync to combat massive tearing (I have to limit frames to 30). I get much better frame rates on my monitor.

And for the U.S. dvd game releases in a box is some sort of lost technology. Gotta download it all on our third world nation cable services, on segregated download service hubs, with multiple accounts and password.

When I download a game on steam, i leave it going all night. In the case of Assassin's creed black flag, it took almost 24 hours.

I have to ask why anyone out there would want to listen to random American's conversations. What good is the data? Would anyone really want to listen to Cutter's home life (assuming he has someone to communicate with?). Does the NSA really need to know what's going on with Grandma?

Given the state of the last election, I seriously doubt there are any hard-hitting political conversations going on out there.

Greed?

No, lack of competition. That's also what the article says. Did you read it?

The duopoly is antiquated and is often doing a disservice. All of those who support Net Neutrality and complain endlessly about slower speeds at higher prices do nothing about trying to bring more competition but instead complain about greed as a way to appear morally superior. Lot of good that will do us.

Yes I read the stupid article you jackass. I don't accept it.

Internet is slow because ISPs refuse to upgrade their freakin infrastructure. In rural areas (where I live), if you're internet goes out the put a band-aid on it rather than fixing the underlying issue. That leaves us with recurring outages.

The big companies would rather charge NetFlix a fee and roll around in their bed of money rather than upgrade their shit. That's greed, and if you don't think it's going on then you are really living in fantasy land.

To be more specific I would have said corruption, just because one legalises corruption doesn't mean it stops being corruption.

Something that's made me scoff a few times when such a country points at others with claims of corruption.

Good point.
