This should help you:
Digital Metro 2033 novel for U.S. customers
This is exclusive for the U.S. due to the fact that the book distribution rights in the U.S. are owned by the author Dmitry Glukhovsky himself (he self-publishes Metro 2033 there), and he was kind enough to allow us to give it away.
You can find the digital novel in English as a PDF in \Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Last Light\novel once it unlocks. If it's not there, download it manually under "DLC" on the Library entry for Metro: Last Light (under LINKS on the right-hand side). Alternatively, find it in the DLC area of the Store page or in the Library > Metro: Last Light > right-click > Properties > DLC.
If it's not there, your best option is to contact Steam support. Edit: no idea why the start of this post is messed up, the tags all look right in the text. |

| To be fair, it looks like the centre screen there is still at the same FOV as normal, they've just stuck a screen either side to widen the view. |

| That looks kinda odd from over here in the UK, because cars are manual by default, and you have to go looking if you want an automatic. |

| I played Master of Magic when it first came out (which makes me feel old) and found it as addictive as Civilisation. I hope they can deliver on a similar level. |

Fable 3 is a HORRIBLE un-optimized port, do NOT purchase it for the PC. I can't speak for Fable 3, but I bought the original Fable in the Christmas sale last year. I tried to play it, but the controls are terrible, which is a darn shame as it seemed to have a lot of cool features. If I'd had more patience I'd probably have been able to get it going better using Joy2Key, but I'd already spent an entire frustrating evening with it and gave up. It was £1.74 so I didn't feel like I'd missed much.
Kinda sad to hear Fable 3 suffered too. |

If you have the time, there is a demo available. I played it when it came out, but it didn't appeal to me. I entirely expect that to be down to my personal preferences though, not a fault of the game as such. |

| I have, picked it up in a bundle some time ago. It is pretty fun. It's not terribly difficult, but I probably got six or so hours out of it. No real reservations, worth it for the sale price. |

Hopefully some driver updates and game patches will address that. Apparently nVidia only received final code a week before release date, and it mucked up what the drivers they had for it were doing:
RPS article
Amusingly, they just released "The Final Hours Of... Tomb Raider" on Steam. Wonder if it includes "screwing up the code to mess with nVidia users."

If it was troll-only, I'd agree, but I think it's much more of a mix between Trolls and Mogu, with a few other boss types in there. Looking forward to it too though. |

Oh heck yes.. I played JC2 to death, nearly 100% - completed everything except most of the vehicle challenges, because the handling was ludicrous at speed |

Darksiders surprised me that it wasn't picked up first time around, and that Crytek didn't want it when they bought the majority of Vigil. I played through DS1 at Christmas and picked up the DS2 complete pack from Amazon just after, and been having a lot of fun with it. Reminds me so much of the old Soul Reaver games.
RF doesn't surprise me though - THQ themselves, before they hit the rocks, had decided not to continue with it because of poor sales. |

No, I had issues and I was running an nvidia 8800 GTS. Not sure if they even ever narrowed it down to a specific cause. I haven't tried it since the most recent patch (which impressed me since it was a good nine months or so after release).
Thankfully it was never enough to make it unplayable (for me anyway).
Edit: there's a thread full of things people had tried to sort it over on the Eidos forums, for the curious.

Didn't DX:HR have a heap of stuttering issues when it was released, that took several patches to sort out (and on some systems never did sort it out)? Everything else was gravy though. |

From PAR's review:
The quick-time events are sprinkled throughout the game, but rarely overstay their welcome. Haven't read any other reviews just yet. Looks like RPS's review will be delayed because they won't even get the PC code until Friday |
