Same. Probably because I can't remember the last time someone mentioned GTA IV.

This game looks a lot like I'm being thrown back into the Sonic universe. That's my opinion on that art style, anyway.

Is this coming as a surprise to anyone?

Also, I don't know about them circling the drain there buddy. I'm pretty sure Dead Space 3 is going to sell some sizable amounts yet again. This is just a reality of life here, guys. Money rules all. It's pathetic, but there you have it.

You wouldn't happen to have any details on that license, would you? I haven't really looked into it, but it would certainly be nice to see D&D games that weren't absolute garbage.

*edit* also, not meaning to sound harsh, it's shitty that more people are going to end up losing jobs. It seems like every other day here there's a company filing for bankruptcy.

I'm a rather cynical individual, but I felt that the video put out was genuine. I hope he makes his money and everything works out, but I agree that it certainly isn't the end of the world for them if it doesn't.

*sighs* It still sickens me that it took the making of Fallout 3 to become popular among the masses.

Well, they're betting the company on this. This game isn't exactly thrilling me, but hopefully it thrills enough people to keep their heads above water. Honestly, while not trying to be a downer, I'd say this looks very grim for GPG.

5. Re: New AMD/ATI Reference Drivers Jan 18, 2013, 14:01 Stimpack

Agreed. I've used both ATI and Nvidia throughout the years and I've found Nvidia to be superior in a lot of ways. Still, competition is healthy and serves to our benefit.

That being said, things haven't looked good for ATI/AMD for a while now...

I agree with you on the humor part, however F3 had some "decent" mature themes. Remember the slave collar quest, that was awesome. But overall I would have liked more humor & darker mature quests.

That's true, but I was thinking more along the lines of New Reno. Aside from the exploding limbs and witty commentary that followed.
I know F3 could be gruesome, but the game as a whole felt like it was just... missing its soul. Oh, well, I know I'm in the minority with that mentality.

Ugh, I miss fallout 1&2... The Bethesda games are alright, but they SERIOUSLY lack the sense of humor and mature themes.

God, DS3 was probably one of the worst games I've ever played and I've played an unhealthy amount of games.

Aha, apparently GPG did not make DS3? It was Obsidian and published by SE. Here's an interview at RPS

News Comments > NVIDIA Portable Announced
11. Re: NVIDIA Portable Announced Jan 7, 2013, 10:54 Stimpack

Obsolete in terms of what? Power? Most definitely. Price? That's what we'll have to see. I'd say that $99 for an emulator/media device and bluetooth controller is worth it. It's what, $75 for the RokuHD? Also we'll see how well the Ouya's warranty holds up, because that does matter.

Anyway, this looks pretty cool. If it's affordable I'll have more of an interest.

*edit* Also it really sucks that they went with the PS joystick setup. That's pretty much the only issue people have with their controller. I've always felt that it was designed to focus on the D-pad, considering that the joysticks were just slapped on the thing after analog came out. The D-pad is now FAR from the center of attention.

Well, I hope this works out. I have plenty of older, crappy computers that would benefit from streaming off of some higher-end firepower. That being said, I really don't know how well any of this 'Cloud Gaming' stuff will work out.
