Yes, but will you really know where you are or will you be desync'd? :p

ZING!

Seriously...the fact that in PoE people have to spam a macro to prevent from being desync'd during normal gameplay, is fucking ridiculous.

There's plenty of people who share the same misconception, 99% of them D3 fans... coincidence? Yes, please don't play PoE, stick to D3.

What misconception? The fact they have a command to fix player desyncs is real, /oos is not a misconception. The fact that people use external macros to bind this command to their skill binds to keep themselves from desyncing, is real. The fact that you can get desync'd just by playing the game normally, is real.

Chris Wilson claims this is an anti-cheat measure. They also talk specifically about desyncs and the use of /oos macros.

Interview with Chris Wilson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y-QFqRHoPM

For me, a lot of what Wilson talks about here is the exact reason I prefer the design choices of D3 over the design choices in PoE. But to each his own.

The difference between you and me Axis, is I don't go into PoE related threads trashing the game just to be a dick.

Feel free to look through my past posts about desync and you'll see 'your' misconception staring right at you in blue and white - you just parrot what you read and have zero experience with it. I stated plenty of times it's a problem, but it's a problem for people who have no clue how to avoid it.

And the way to avoid it has little to do with an /oos command.

And we cant totally trust scientists, you know the guys who say whatever the gov't wants them to say so they can get funding...

Then again, people like cutter have no idea how the real world works.

but the problem is Obama and 'his advisers' have no clue across the board, this is just a drop in the ocean of buffoonery...

Whenever there's something a mass majority don't like, something else entrepreneurial comes along that can make them happy - UNLESS the gov't controls it all, then you are all fucked and can't do shit about it.

Titanfall is looking to be exactly what I expected. I hope it improves, but I hope every weak game improves so that's not saying much.

Count me as one of the happy non-purchasers, won't spend a dime on this lip-service money grab either.

I knew the pile it was to become looong ago.

Right now Life is the way to go still. For leveling nothing beats a two-hander and spectral throw, just don't go too heavy in points unless ya plan on keeping it then you can tear up the chapters to get leveled. My last ranger spec throw was just amazing, but I got careless just once and bit it on the corrupting blood.

I still am a sucker for MF, so I tend to make totem and necro builds first for farming, then make experimental builds I can support with the MF guys.

Really so many options, I've dozens of characters, half of them over 50. And I'm NOT a multi-character alt type of guy, I stick with one and go as far as I can. But the game just makes you want to keep experimenting - good stuff.

The problem with dungeonforge is it was already tried with the asstastic "flexible funding" via the 'other' kickstarter site and people are weary rightfully so.

Shame too, I actually hope it gets funded but I won't be funding it.

I can only guess that the continued anger at the Wii U is a direct result of the xbone and ps4 being boring as all fuck to so many disappointed purchasers, or just people parroting online sentiment.

Cause it's certainly not out of experience with the console -- the variety of games sure have been keeping our Wii U on constantly, and there's certainly no 'looking like ass' or 'running poorly' as hundreds of online comparisons can easily prove.

Well curiosity was and experiment and proved people have nothing better to do.

Dungeon Keeper was one of his hallmark games, and I'd be annoyed too if my name was attached in any way to EA's ream scheme...

Destiny has all the Halo Fannies swooning, so it'll be popular even if it was a steaming pile.

FPS on consoles... too funny.
