NPD has been irrelevant for PC for years.

At least on consoles people still primarily purchase media more than digital.

NPD is irrelevant completely now. Many more digital sales are happening on console now and the best they can do is guess them. They're not even worth reporting on any more.

You may be right. I still prefer to buy the dvd's on consoles simply so I don't have to use up all the space, I'm just too lazy to throw a large external on drive on more to the point and would think most kids/families wouldn't know they could let alone bother to do so.

Know why we haven't got to the point where if you lose the case you started, you have to pay ALL legal fees? I'll tell you why - cause 70% of the US lawyers would be out of a job due to people actually thinking twice before suing...

Can't wait - hope they take their time and hone what they intended so they can reap the positive reviews/buying spree/long term support!

Only other game I'm equally hopeful for is Divinity Original Sin - game will rock the house they keep it up.

My son and I finished Defenders Quest ages ago -- odd that they would review it 1.5 years after it's been released. I thought for a second it was a sequel - got me all excited for nothing...

But yes, it's a fantastic game.

Looks too "floaty".

I spent way more time playing "Stunt Car Racer" on my Amiga than any car/racing game since. Mario Kart is the only exception, but only cause of my kids...

Nexus 5 phone for me, two Nexus 10 tabs for the kids, nothing out there touches them for the price.

Congrats bought-off reviewers! And who ever said gaming and politics don't share the same love of corruption!?

My son loves GW2. I knew he would when he was able; it's a perfect easy mmo experience.

So while I can't stand what GW2 is for my own gaming desires, it fits perfect for him. And since I ended up getting thousands of gems back when I could buy 400gems for 1 gold, he gets to enjoy all the pay-for shit I wouldn't pay a dime for!

Axis, you wouldnít know right if left came up and smacked you in the head.

Iíll take Skewed and Revieweds review of the game over PC Gamers. The guy from PCG said he put in 30 hours, which is nothing. Maybe he got to level 16 at most. Anyone coming in and reviewing an MMO with only 30 hours is someone I will not listen to for one second. You canít even get a good feel for that game at that point.

Iím almost level 30 and I have not even seen a third of the world yet. So far, Iím really enjoying the game. Itís been nothing but fun and interesting exploring the world.

Darks, my only response is for people to simply read your own reply - you do a good job discrediting yourself - I can't best it.

I can add however that the beginning of the game is so abysmally stale and just continues along the 'seen it all before' mmo lines -- I'm surprised if anyone but the mmo nubs got past a few hours.

And it's things like that which make you sound stupid. The internet is used 97% for vapid nonsense. The other 3% could be done without it.

How do you get a job without the internet?
How do you keep a job without the internet?

What a pampered and sheltered life you must live.

Nin you are a coward, you troll every post that insults people, most of which you have on ignore.

JD, underhanded insults are ineffectual and just portrays the poster as insecure and ineffective. You think by making long-stretch analogies you are obscuring and being smart.

I stand by what I said, nothing else to add. You can stand by your statement about the internet:
"either nationalize the internet, or heavily regulate it."
while you compare its "essentially" to water and electricity...

The "people" can continue to think whatever they like about whoever they choose.

Franken is one of the few liberal democrats I can stomach, admittedly because I have an appreciation for comedians. When he talks about serious matters, I can hear him laughing internally at all the gullibles out there lining his pockets.

Gov't control of media flow and connectivity is the greatest threat to free speech the country faces, not citizens who have a stake in it's businesses and a choice of which to support.

One Govt or thousands of corporations to choose from. Never choose government -- you'll lose regardless of your beliefs.

Thanks IRS, please spend our tax money to supplement the Gov'ts incompetent business practices.

There's nothing more inefficient than the Gov't, this is just a drop in the bucket. I'm surprised to see it here, there's hundreds of incidents like this that goes on every week.
