| Even if the game isn't all that great I still hope it sells well. I know that's an odd thing to see after some of the crap PC game launches we've had in the last couple years. But right now this genre is niche at best, dead at worst, and it needs a spark. This looks to be the best chance for that. |

What's sad is that with a few tweaks, some of which other companies provide, they could have made it less jarring for users on desktops/laptops. But no, in order to save money they had to make it as identical as possible across different platforms. They could have made the transition more gradual across a couple OS releases. They could have included a frikkin tutorial on first boot. I guess all that would require competent management and some sort of long term plan. And previews of "blue" show they only depreciate the desktop more so there won't be any compromise for PC users.
And 8 is still so damned ugly. |

I too am no fan of hot weather (though we max out around 35C here). But we should be seeing green by now and instead we still have waist-deep snow. Messes with your head man.
As for the wonder woman image, I never even heard of the NBC pilot until today. The pr0n version does look way better both in costume and the overall figure of the person, I should watch it. For the comic accuracy I mean. *cough* |

| I rarely sleep the entire night. Typical routine will be to wake up, pry cat away from her cozy warm spot right in the freaking middle of the bed (asshole). After I bandage up the wounds from the cat who did not appreciate being moved I might take a piss, put the sleephones back on and queue some storm sounds up again. As long as I go to bed 7 hours before I have to get up I'm pretty good. 8 is ideal but no way is it 8 actual hours of sleep. |

| The title is "Worst company" not "Worst customer service". The article itself says "The point of this contest, now in its 8th year, is to enable consumers to send a message to a company that provides goods or services to them". There are companies out there that provide goods and services and have willingly ruined peoples lives, bankrupted people, poisoned people, straight up killed people. I guess they didn't vote. |

| I will never understand EA winning that poll. If it was limited to the gaming industry absolutely it makes sense, their statement regarding their win is only more proof of that. But there are companies in the US that are whole orders of magnitude more evil than EA could ever hope to be. The fact so many people vote EA over everyone else is frightening. |

| Sometimes I think I'm just not smart enough or knowledgeable enough for Kerbal, at least to do do anything but make rockets crash into the ground or occasionally get one into space but doom the pilot to the inky black void of space. But the other half of me still enjoys watching them screaming in the bottom right cockpit windows as they realize the horror of the situations I place them in. You don't make omelets without cracking a few eggs. |

| I finally got a Kerbal into space...unfortunately for him I didn't plan very well past the "get into space part" so he's on a .....very long journey right now. Very very long. |

| I only played the SNES version as a kid but even that was visually amazing. Your used to 2D sprites up to that point and then you pop this in and see full screen rotoscoped animation, blew my little mind. I swear I thought the developers crammed some sort of magic in that cart. |

Unless they lock the framerate of PC ports to 30FPS so it doesn't break things like animations which they hard coded to only look correct at 30. |

Not to mention that aside from damage due to storms and such power usually comes back pretty quick without a personal visit needed from one of their techs. Internet providers though? "Oh sure we can send out a guy a week from Tuesday".
