Wasn't there an episode of House where they finally figured out why someone was dying and it turned out to be they'd broken their big toe and there was a clot or something? Don't mean to alarm, I'm just sayin ...

Wasn't that lupus?

No wait it's never lupus. Never mind!

The port of the first game was pretty barebones, gonna skip this until its on extreme sale. The last time they didn't even offer key rebindings and they locked out the config files.

And 30fps cap!

Fortunately for the 30FPS cap there was a 3rd party utility to unlock the framerate. Still dumb though.

Wow the day you ban me for having a different view than others is the day you first broke a bone? What about that? Well unlike most here I hope you feel better. With that said, people on here constantly cuss, say rude comments, etc...and I never see them get banned. A matter of fact, they are still going strong. However, let a christian say his view and he gets banned. Some would call that being a begot...Go look up the word.

begot
"a past tense and past participle of beget"

Sorry, I don't normally do grammar nazi stuff but that was too enticing.

Me Grimlock wait until Steam sale. The first one was decent but not $59.99 decent, this looks much the same.

edit: Apparently Tumbler and I think the same.

Any ounce of goodwill anyone might have had towards Schilling should evaporate now, that was completely classless.

The texture pack for Sleeping Dogs is 3GB, bringing the game's total footprint to 10GB. I don't have a fucking clue what they did with Max Payne 3 to hit 30GB considering a) it's short b) it's extremely linear.

Did they include multiple language tracks? Force unleashed did something similar and it's a ridiculous 30 Gigs to download.

Looking good... hopefully the PC port is done proper.

Judging by the shoddy ports of GTA4 & LA Noire and the complete absence of RDR I wouldn't hold my breath, Rockstars support for the PC is pretty lackluster. But I guess they could change.

At this point all the drama behind the release of the game might be better than the game itself.

I can heap praise on MSI's Twin Frozr line. I've got a 560Ti version and the thing is damn near silent as well, even under full load. Yet still roughly 20° cooler than stock. Love that series.

There was a time, shortly after their first AVP, when I would have. But that was a looong time ago. I will say sniper elite v2 was at least enjoyable, but prior to that, they'd been in a bit of a rut.

I'm still mad Rebellion acquired the Evil Genius IP and turned it into a crappy facebook game with no plans for a proper sequel. I love the original so very much.

Follow up question to my last one. Who here would look at the title for the game and go "Ooh! I have to buy that because Rebellion made it!".

I've seen mine before, but can't find it now. Any idea where it is?

Edit: nevermind, I found it using a tool to search for it.

We might as well whip em out fellas and do a proper contest.

iPhone Ebay auction going for $10000

If someone buys that I want a ticket off this planet. "Vintage" my ass, it's a 5 year old mass produced piece of electronics.

I feel much the same way. I just don't like to compete with other people, I prefer working together. I do play a few competitive games with my bro and nephew like Worms and Hero Academy, but I don't really play them to win, but to hang out with family who live far away.

Mostly I view playing games as puzzle solving, and playing against the AI is a puzzle to solve: how to best use my forces to defeat the AI on this map, terrain, position, faction, etc. Other reasons I play mostly SP is to experience a narrative, so I like games such as Skyrim and Deus Ex too. And lastly I play games to relax and playing competitively with winning as my goal is stressful for me, not fun.

Same for me. I rarely play any game online against other people, the Battlefield series is probably the only exception. Even then I'm usually a loner. I bought Starcraft 2 for the campaign and co-op compstomps and that's it. I've purchased every release of Sins of a Solar Empire and never once even pressed the multiplayer button. I only have one friend who even plays games online anymore and the real world keeps sapping away that time. And quite frankly my skills as a gamer are getting weaker with age, I have no desire to be continually obliterated. That might be why I like Battlefield, it may be multiplayer but because I stick to 32-64 player servers the chaos helps filter out getting your ass handed to you by one guy.

Damn, even the "achievements" are pathetic. They couldn't at least use mp3's of the original OST to preserve the original sound? It's like they don't even want people to buy it.
